Yeah, its a little scary wondering if he is a good doctor. I realize the lap turned to lapratomy can happen but It makes you wonder if he did something wrong? I have to stop thinking about all this though or I'm afraid I'm going to talk myself out of it. LOL

Hey, Karla - yikes! I'm glad you were able to get a second opinion, though, and were able to get the info you need to mull over so you can make a decision. I give you a LOT of credit for all the research you've done and how much you know about all of this - makes you feel like you're part of the decision than just being at the mercy of a few docs! I know it doesn't make it any easier, or make the pain go away, but still! Sending good thoughts your way!!

So I have only two weeks and two days of 'normal' left to spend with my family and hubby and my freakin' period decided to come early!! I'm so [glow=red,2,300]pis*ed[/glow] right now. The pain usually sends me to my bed with heat, ice, and Percoset, which makes me dizzy so I have to have mecclaizine and promethezine which makes me so sleepy I can't function. It seems to last about 10 days so I don't know if I will be back to functioning levels before the surgery or not. We are supposed to have one last hurrah and hit the local water park as a reward for my kids reading their required amount of books. SO NOT HAPPY!! I guess if I needed even one more reason this has GOT to be done. It [glow=red,2,300]ARRIVED[/glow] today. ARGH!

Well, figured I would just rant in here for a bit....
HOLY OVULATION! I haven't ovulated on my own since my surgery. I forgot what this feels like! I had a positive LH test on Saturday and Sunday morning. Did the deed on Saturday and def ovualted yesterday. I feel like someone kicked me on my left side. It's starting to pass now thank god because I looked like an idiot even walking around this morning.
But good news is, for just going off the pill, I'm right on time. Today will be D16 of my cycle, so I'm crossing my fingers!

Good luck! Fingers crossed!!! If you get an early HPT, def. get your progesterone levels checked since you just went off the pill. I knwo you know all that, though! You're the hormone guru!!!!!!

Totally with you on Ovualtion sucks! I woke up cramping like nobodies business. ARGH! Did I miss something? Are you trying to get prego?

Oh, I've been trying for four years this December. I just wasn't really actively trying this past year because I was over the whole deal...too many years of disappointment month after month. Figured since I'm technically cleaned up for now, it would be best to actively try for real again. I haven't started temping yet since I just got off the pill recently, but I have a million LH tests lying around so I just counted days this month and happened to test on the right day! I just haven't had a normal ovulation since before my surgery because I was on the pill, so I'm quite sore today!

I bet, I just don't think any of those bc's are good for anyone! YUCK... my own opinon I won't get into an argument about pro's and con's of bc's. It just seems that anyone who is already having problems with their cycles getting put on the bc's are asking for more problems later. Of course I had one friend who could only get pregant when she was on bc's. Weird huh? She has three kids now and was told she would never get pregnant. Took the bc's as a 'just in case' and oops! It somehow made her cycle normal? Our bodies are crazy!
