Sorry you wont be able to use the synarel... id send you some of mine if i could! it is expensive.. especially after being on it for more than 2 years!
You can give the lupron a shot, and see how you go i guess you may respond differently to those who had negative experiences with it. Synarel doesnt eliminate you from harsh side effects, i can relate to lupron experiences just not as harsh and i also have HRT and Premarin for an extra kick.
Good Luck, and i hope the belly calms down. I had a similar op and i have to say it took atleast 12 months for swelling and tenderness to start to subside.

Is the generic cheaper? I'd totally check in to that!

I have never been advised of a generic version but that said i have never asked as I never use generic brands of medication.
Worth the question though?

Ah. The patent hasn't run out. I guess when it does, it will be "nafarelin nasal," since that is what I keep finding when I search for the generic of it.

Yah. That bites! Have you found it online anywhere? I can check a pharmacy from the U.K. that I have bought from before.

I found synarel on an international site as well as a canadian site. Its 300 dollars still and I'm unsure if the insurance will cover their half. I think I have given up on the synarel. I also believe its time to take another trip to the doctor, (2 hours away) and tell him about the constant diarhea. I'm pretty darn sure its not normal. I had to leave a meeting I was in charge of today because I kept going and going... Its been almost four weeks of this. Tried the phsillium husk, and constant pepto for the last three weeks. (ugh the taste is starting to get to me... Its SO gross!) I was eating celery everyday for several of those weeks as well. I'm eating a modified endo diet, no bread, no caffeine, chocolate, etc. I don't know if this is causing the problem or not.

Eeek. The psyllium and celery didn't help to bulk you up?

good idea to go back and see your dr if its not a direct result of bowel surgery.

I haven' t had issues with ibu, but are there any other new drugs that could be to blame?
Whenever I have an upset tummy, I mix baking soda and water (the mixing ratio is on the box). Always does the trick for me right away, but then again, I don't have the bowel symptoms as a lot of the ladies on here. Won't taste any better than pepto, though...

So I inadvertenly fixed the bowel problems. I got back on pain killers when my period came and they took care of the problem! LOL Just have to eat lots of fruit and fiber to keep me from getting backed up the other direction. Haha! Still haven't decided what to do about the Lupron. Maybe I'll just keep up with diet, exercise and pain killers and not bother with the Lupron at all. Its a pretty mild pain killer, its only Darvocet with acetiminphon (sP)
