That happened to me once. Only it didn't quite fall out... let's just say my partner won the 'ring toss' game...

So far, I'm wondering if this nuva ring is even working cause I'm not really getting any side effects. My boobs hurt and I get an occasional hot flash, both of which aren't new. It almost sounds too good to be true to be able to be on birth control and not get sick and crazy. It's almost like a miracle. I don't want to speak too soon but........ I LOVE THIS THING!

DUDE, ok I've been on it for a month now. Nearly all of my symptoms are GONE. I just can't believe it. I want to celebrate and be happy but I'm so reluctant to get overly excited. But seriously, I feel like my old self again!! It's a friggin miracle!!! I can't even begin to explain how good sex is again!! LOL No more ovulation pain, no nothing! I just can't believe it!!

I know, I got super happy after my lap cause I felt so good then everything went down hill. That's why I'm scared to scream that I'm cured.

I just started the ring, today.
I really hope that my boobs don't get any bigger. These things are out of control. I've finally had to graduate to a D-cup, and believe it or not, I'm not happy about it. I mean, they look good with the small waist, and everything, but it's too hard to find bras that actually fit right, and nevermind ONE dress, or a button-up anything.
How's it been treating you, jenaya? Happily larger boobs? Continued pain relief?

Well, the boobs kinda stabilized. They kinda filled out but nothing too noticable to other people. I have been really REALLY struggling with my weight. I have always been very fit and athletic my whole life and birth control does this to me everytime. If I don't watch what I eat or if I spend longer than a week out of the gym, BAM automatic 10lbs. Also my hair has really thinned out A LOT. I'm actually getting some of my old symptoms back but I'm not sure if it's just a temporary thing or if the endo is coming back, AGAIN. I'm still functional, the symptoms aren't really interferring with my life as severely as it used to but I am getting a little bit of pain with sex again which is, by far, the most depressing symptom for me. I hope to GOD it doesn't get worse. My optimism has faded a little but my symptoms are still on the good side. I really hate struggling with my weight. It's so depressing.

I've put a ton of weight on since the Mirena and Provera. Temporary glitch I hope. If it makes you feel any better sunshine, I bought a new bra last month and it's a FF.

Holy crap.
I've wanted to find the time to work out, even if it means just walking around my neighborhood, a couple of times a week (my "block" is huge, and has some nice ups and downs), so I guess this is my motivation. Stupid birth control and its resultant wobbly bits.
I'm actually optimistic about this one. We'll see, in the next couple of weeks.

Okay, of any of you ladies who've been on this thing, I have a couple of questions:
Have any of you had any non-stop cycles while on it? If you have, was it the result of trying to use it continuously to avoid/lessen the severity of a visit from Mother Nature?
I have had some issues for the whole of the past two months, mostly resulting from an illness that required antibiotics, and frequent migraines, due to constantly fluctuating weather. Both of these can work together to reduce effectiveness of any birth control, but I haven't taken migraine meds for at least two weeks, and the antibiotic episode was over with about 5 or 6 weeks ago. That episode cost me a full three weeks of agony, and this time around, with no meds, I've been lightly/moderately bleeding for 16 days, now. I put in a new ring the day I took the old one out, b/c I couldn't handle the thought of Mother Nature with no pain meds, as the previous episode ran me out of them.
I hate this sh*t. And I have the cramps from heck (less severe than hell, but very annoying, and nearly constant).

Could be that your body needs more time to adjust, or that there's not enough estrogen in there for you.
I used to use it continuously on occasion just out of convenience if I was going on vacation or something, but I always got all bloated because of it so I didn't do it often. I never had bleeding because of it, though.
