Don't worry jenaya, you can still trash staff members as much as you like Cos unfortunately we can't edit other people's posts to announce things like jenaya confessing 'I has cooties'

Although this thread was taken totally off topic, I'd like to refocus!
I started the Nuvaring a few weeks ago and everything was fine until yesterday. For some reason, it keeps slipping down too far and won't stay in place. It's very uncomfortable and is starting to cause pain and irritation. I've read some things that said slipping can happen and that you should jut push it back up into place. Well, that's not working! I get it in place and less than 15 minutes later, its slipped down again.
Has anyone else experienced this? I have no idea what to do.

Can you call the manufacturer to ask what's up and what they recommend?

Hmm, can't say I really had that. Every now and then, it'd get a little low but if I pushed it up, it'd be fine. I'd say ask your doc or ask the manufacturer.

I'm going to see my doctor Friday and hopefully she can help me figure it out. I've read that sometimes this happens with women who have a titled uterus. It seems like someone would have told me already though if I had that. I know you aren't supposed to have it out for more than 3 hours, but I don't know if I can make it til Friday!

Hmm, maybe work on some Kegal exercises in the meantime? Might help you keep things in line until Friday. Good luck, and let us know what your doc says! With this obvious exception, were you liking Nuvaring so far? I felt like the hormonal mood swings were much more tolerable on Nuvaring compared to everything else I was on.

I've really liked it, aside from not being able to keep the little booger in!
I've felt no real mood issues, but maybe you should ask my husband! The pill always made me feel sick to my stomach, but again, nothing from the Nuvaring. I feel like for the most part, its helped with the pain as well. My doctor has this "theory" that since the hormones are closer to the problem area, it will work better. I don't know how true that is, but I'd love for it to be the case!
It seems that a lot of women experience dryness. That wasn't a problem for me until right around the same time I couldn't keep it in. I don't know if the two problems are related.
Do you currently use it Karen? I'd love to know how your experience is/was.
