OMG - I've completely fallen off the endo diet bandwagon. I'm currently sitting here eating a poppyseed bagel with egg and cheese from Panera. I've got to get back to it! It's just hard because the food isn't causing me a lot pain so I'm going for it! I'm finally back to a healthy weight, but man I need to get healthy again. After Memorial Day, IT'S ON LIKE POPCORN! No more crap. I need a swift kick in the butt

I'm still in denial about wheat. I just can't seem to get rid of it. I didn't even realize how much wheat I ate until I figured out that it makes me crabby and bloated.

Well, the good news is that food doesn't cause you much pain at the moment. If I didn't have pain or bloating when I ate, there's no way in hell I'd watch my diet! It's like an internal alarm, right? That being said, when you're ready to get back on the wagon, we're here.

This thread is awesome! I have such a difficult time staying on a good diet. My husband and I are both desperately trying to lose weight, we were doing good but.....two words for you....POUND CAKE! It started a week and a half long downward spiral of stupidity! Mexican food....ice cream....chocolate...I've been a MAD WOMAN!! But now I feel like a big pile of dog doo and so does he. My husband, commented last night how much his joints and back ached from crappy food. Back on the wagon today folks!

Amazing how much you can tell a difference, right?
I know eggs are just fine for many of you, but for me, eggs showed up on my food sensitivity test so I typically avoid them. The few times I've had them since, I feel bloated and out of it. Well, both yesterday and today, I had eggs for breakfast. I needed the boost of protein! And now I'm paying for it. No more eggs for me!

Yeah, I have heard that eggs really bother some people with endo, but I seem to do ok on them. It's processed sugar and nitrates that bother me so bad! I had thought I was gluten intolerant for a while, but once I got off sugar ( I'm off sugar I'd say around 85% of the time) I can have a small amount of whole grain bread a day and be just fine. Go figure? But whenever I eat highly processed grains or sugar, the pain returns with a vengeance! On top of that, I get really weird heart palpitations too. So strange!

Ladies, I have to get serious again. I feel like my response to the endo diet was great and now that I'm just not trying as hard to get nutrients into my body, more like just eating 'around' the diet (not trying very hard...) I'm slacking! Since I can't really afford ANY other treatments right now I HAVE to be serious about this diet! pull it together pretty!

Yeah, I hear you. I'm eating things that aren't bad for me in terms of the endo diet, but they aren't that good for me... Do I really need to eat a full bag of potato chips? I NEVER get them, but lately have been swinging out to the store to get them. I need need need to get back on track! You and me, Pretty, let's get our heads together and find some good new things to try!
