At one point we were discussing special diets for your blood type but I don't remember where that thread is. Pretty? Do you know where it is?

I don't want to discourage anyone from trying the diet. Even though it didn't work out for me, I still learned a lot about what my body likes and doesn't like. That's knowledge I would have never gotten if I hadn't tried the diet. So I still encourage everyone to try it because you never know what you might learn!

I still think the endo diet is different for everyone. I consider myself on it, but I still eat meat! I'd be lost without it!!! But, it's all about finding what doesn't work for YOUR body, and now you certainly have a better idea of what's going on inside of there!!

I think that taking the first step and looking at your diet is one of the wisest things anyone can do, let alone people with health problems. I still cheat every now and then as I think most people do, but I understand my body so much better, and some things that aren't 'part' of the endo diet I avoid because I know, due to doing the diet what my body likes and doesn't like.
I'm not saying that people who don't look at their diet are wrong, I just know that I went from literally horrendous problems and pain, particularly bowel to now knowing how to control this and being a lot happier day to day because of food. Plain and simple. It doesn't have to be the endo diet, people have posted about all sorts of different diets that help with problems.
I heart diets for health reasons!!!!

My problem isn't the sugar, its avoiding things that could be called "healthy" but make me sick, bloaty. At our homeschool group, the nutrition class brought the stuff for trail mix. I just couldn't avoid those nuts. They tasted so good but they are so bad for my tummy! The dried fruit was delicious, especially if you are craving sugar, but the nuts are bad for me and it will take several miserable days to get them out of my system. I was very bad last night too. I ate some yummy popcorn which is also super bad for my tummy. I'm dumb! I admit it

My husband never wants to go out to eat so when he does, I like to take advantage of the situation. The only problem is that he only ever wants to go to Five Guys burger joint. And every time I eat there it puts me in the most horrid stomach pain for like 2 days. We had it yesterday and I am on fire! The Nexium isn't even helping.

I haven't had the burgers of course. I hear they're great!
Hope your tummy feels better soon.

Yeah they're not bad. I miss my California burgers more. It's a close second. I hate how my stomach just sucks ass. I used to be able to practically eat fire and acid before. Oh to be 21 again when everything was perfect....
