I was duped yesterday, too. Went out to eat and ordered some pan seared tilapia with broccoli and seasoned rice. It was super tummy... But a few minutes in, I started having some pain and I realized they dusted the damn thing in flour first! It's tricky to eat well outside of the home but I thought I did good until that...

I have been eating a lot of sweets lately which is really not like me. But for some reason I'm feeling ok. I feel a little bloated but no pain. Weird.... lol.

Sweets usually don't do much pain-wise but I bloat like a beast even with the tiniest amounts...
I did really good at Easter dinner today, but they had ice cream cake for dessert and I haven't had ice cream probably since September? So I had a slice. Now I have a headache and even more bloat than before. And my joints ache. Bleh.

Oh I spoke too soon. I woke up HUGE today. My face is so puffy and swollen. This happened to me about 2 months ago where I woke up with a red puffy face.
UGH.

Jenaya puffy face I know it sounds like nutty old lady suggestion but try cucumber mask you can pick it up at a drug store for $2.00 and use the cucumbers on your eyes for the puffy eyes. It works.

I went to my mums yesterday for lunch. She always has a lot of people to cook for and so usually conveniently forgets I am doing the endo diet (and that my boyf is vege!!).
So usually she does a roast, and I can eat around the things that are bad for me, but she did pasta and garlic bread etc. I couldn't get any wheat free at short notice so I ended up eating the pasta. I had from about 6pm onwards the most horrendous pains in my abdomen, sharp and excruciating. Pasta has always been the worst wheaty thing for me and even when I fall off the wagon I never touch pasta but I felt bad and so ate it.
I took extra magnesium just so I could empty my bowels, but now I feel bloody awful!!!
It has spurred me on not to cheat again though, last night the pain was horrid and the fact it was from food made the whole thing worse as I could have avoided it!!

Gem! Poor tummy! That wheat is pretty lethal when you haven't had it in a while!
I decided that I'm going back on the insulin resistance diet. The endo diet just isn't working out. I did VERY well on the insulin resistance diet and I really feel it's best for my body. I felt really good when I was on it. The endo diet just doesn't give me the same result. I feel deprived and crabby all the time which seems so counterproductive when I'm trying to feel better. If I eat things that are on the endo diet but are unfriendly to the insulin diet, I always feel like sh*t after. I guess my body is just different. Can't say I didn't try though!!!!

That's a really good thing J - you tried and it didn't work, so you're trying something else. It's all for your health at the end of the day!
