That's great, Karen. The mundane things really drag you down when you can't do them, even if they aren't the stuff that makes the news. Although i like this headline: " Woman able to do everything on her to-do list today", more at 11! I would probably tune in.  |

" Woman able to do everything on her to-do list today", more at 11! Love it!  It means so much to me that you guys understand it. Not being able to do all those little mundane things and seeing them pile up were just constant reminders of failure, you know? I have a long way to go in getting rid of those reminders, but just to feel like I have a start is incredible. I really feel like me today. I haven't felt that way in a long time. My thoughts are clear, I can do things without forgetting half of what I meant to do, it's 7:00 on a Sunday night and I'm not passed out on the couch from brain fog! And guys - I actually thought about going to the gym today!!! I even emailed my running buddy that I want to start running again! I don't want to do too much too soon, but I'm excited that I'm thinking about picking up my life where I left off. And I just hope it lasts. |

This is just unreal. I know it's too soon to say but if it was zinc this whole time... I'm in disbelief.
I went and dug through all my labs my neurologist did and he tested my zinc levels too but mine were right smack in the middle normal. I wonder why nobody checked your zinc this entire time.

I've also been taking Co-Q-10, but I think I needed both of them. I really hope this is all it was... Even if it's just part of the puzzle, that still makes me happy!

My younger sister doesn't have endo! My little sister had a lap today for an ovarian cyst and everything went fine. Her doctor excised the cyst and took some pics. He pics shocked me since everything was so pink. Every time I have pics from my laps it looks like a black mess. It's nice to see what normal looks like.

Something amazing has just happened. I got a phone call from the director of the program. I recieved a full tuition and books scholarship from Nurses for Tomorrow for my second year at Wenatchee Valley College Nursing Program. It is a central washington nursing scholarship for nurses who want to work in the area. It came at such an amazing and unexpected time as we were really struggling with money concerns because of the many hospital bills from January and the surgery in September. I feel so weak some days as I have tried to keep going. I was so blessed that I started crying. My director knows that I had a hospital stay in the middle of all that and kept going. She told me that I "underplayed how difficult it was for me to get this far" and that I should know that for future reference filling out scholarships. I"M SO EXCITED! I keep crying and then laughing. I sound like a crazy person.
