OH my goodness, that's awesome, you guys!!
Okay, I finally have something to post here, though it's hardly newsworthy, lol.
I seem to have lost 6 pounds in 4 days. I don't know where the hell they went, but I just put on a pair of pants that I haven't been able to wear in over a year. I'd like to know what happened, so I can replicate it about 4 more times.

I had a presentation today and I nailed it. Yay! I'm a paper-pusher for a large construction company. The problem? I don't like pushing paper. But, since there's a lot of paper to be pushed, someone needs to do it, right? And in the meantime, I don't get to do more challenging work because I'm stuck pushing paper... Well, we were awarded a really big project recently and were given the go-ahead to research other software to help make the paperwork process easier and more streamlined (we have so many inefficient systems right now that would really bog down this project). We found an awesome product and it was my job to compile all the info and present to our big boss for approval. I rocked the presentation, had all the info he needed, and we got his initial approval. If all goes well and his boss approves, we'll be up and running in a few weeks. The best part? A lot of my time would be freed up to do lots more than just push paper!

Rock on Karen!
My good news is today I finally saw a doc I think I want to be my GP. He is this really nice man who was my grandma's doc before she passed.... at 98 years old! Anyhow it was awesome to finally, finally go in for a routine appointment and be given time to tell my story and get through all my 3 things I wanted to say without getting cut off or condescended to. He even talked to me about my feelings (about fertility!) and wanted me to understand that although I may not get pregnant naturally, that doesnt mean I am less of a woman or dont 'deserve' a child. Wow I got my mind blown. Anyhow, the only reason I've never seen him before was I was under the impression that he was full up with patients! so he was cool enough to order a totally thorough blood check with Vitamin D, Thyroid, and a bunch of other cool tests. I'm just so happy to be listened to and treated like a lady. Thank you world for giving me this....

Wooooo hooooooooooooooooooooooo, Pretty, that's awesome! Isn't it so basic that the doctors we love the most are the ones that listen to us?

OMG that's soooo cool! I hope my appointment on the 21st goes well. He's a doc that I picked from all the great reviews he got. He had a 12 week wait list but if he's as good as yours then it might be worth it.
I love good doctors. They are so wonderful!
