If anyone has been reading ouchy's posts closely you will have noticed she has some happy news for us. She isn't one to blow her own trumpet (oh so modest, aww!) but I'd like to say congratulations and best wishes for a healthy happy pregnancy! Best of luck mum-to-be ouchy! xx

Ahhhh! Thanks, angela!!! I wish you the best of luck as well! My first ultrasound is in a couple weeks. If whatever is inside sticks until then, I'll be very relieved. I'm so surprised given my previous chemical pregnancy, PCOS, luteal phase defect, and endo on my uterus, and suspected adenomyosis that they're not having me do tests to make sure the hCG is doubling every couple days and checking my progesterone level!!! I'm testing the hCG on my own w/ preg. tests to make sure the line keeps getting darker. Luckily, I have found some tests where the control line is super-super dark, so I can use it for a while to watch the test line get darker and darker. My temp dropped a little today, so I got scared. The tests strips got darker, though, so that is good. UGHGHGH! I want the first ultrasound to be here!!!! Thanks again, girls!!!!

Yah. I learned my lesson last time. I'm also using progesterone cream.
My husband and I returned from vacation earlier this week, and we brought back a wooden playpen! It's SOOOO cute! It kinda' sucked, though. We were at the ticket counter and got charged and extra $100.00 to get it on the plane bc of its size. Oh well. They sure don't have anything like that here in the U.S., though. I think the story will be great to tell this kid!

I was wondering when this news would get out to the general public.... I have only one request of you ouchy: don't give your child a name ending in -en or -yn. In fact, if it ends in -aden/-adyn I will personally come out there and smack you. Seriously, practically every child under the age of 5 now is named Jaden, Braden, Kadyn, Aiden, Drayden, or anything rhyming with that. I want to scream every time I hear one of those ultra-trendy names.... But even if you DO decide to name your child something that makes me ill, I will still be very happy for you

I probably won't even be able to pronounce my kids' names!--They won't be made up names all hyphenated and spelled w/ apostrophes; they'll probably just not be in English.
