If anyone is interested in seeing a baby moving on an ultrasound, here is a YouTube link to someone's 12week ultrasound (Mine was 10weeks 6days, but the baby still has all the parts to move then!). I'm not lying, guys! They REALLY move! Just can't feel them moving until you're further along! www.youtube.com/watch?v=mudzcYwunaY*Edited to add, the woman's uterus on the YouTube video is way different from mine. Mine is like a big balloon...and this lady's looks like a big banana? Baby still moving, but mine is like a swimming pool w/ tons of room to play!

....I never said I thought babies didn't move. I know they do! They just don't all do somersaults and waistbends and all that while people are watching them...maybe they do early on, but the only ultrasounds I've seen have been from about 4 months, so movements have been more restricted.

Could be that the movement is restricted and that they sleep a lot! Mine was sleeping until I started scaring it by coughing and laughing! LOL! The doctor said they play for about a minute and sleep for 10. Off and on the whole day.
My friend had a 4D ultrasound done when she was 7 months. It was really, really cool! The sonographer wanted the baby to wake up, so he gave my friend's belly a big push. This made the baby kick herself in the face, so she made a frown and looked like she was starting to cry!!!! It was the most amazing thing to watch! My friend got mad and told the sonographer to let her sleep and not to make her baby cry!

Congrats on hearing the heartbeat for the first time, that's gotta be one of those amazing moments, when it dawns on you bit by bit that this is your little person growing inside! xx

Thanks! I can also feel baby moving! It feels like a tiny, tiny fish flopping around.

Now I don't like fish, they are rude and stare a lot... but I like the sound of that! I've been told that babies can kick like a thai boxer when they get bigger so I hope yours settles a bit. Or you are in for some restless nights, with baby playing soccer and tap dancing on your bladder. But obv you already know all this! I keep thinking wow I can't wait til I experience this but I think I'd be too busy being hormonal to enjoy the pregnancy! xx
