Mine isn't called Micronor either, it's called Camila, but is supposed to be a generic of Micronor.
I've only had one period on Camila so far, but if I am to have another period it will be due in a week or two, but not sure if my body ovulated yet or not. I keep track of my cycles using my temperature -- which is a little hard to do when on birth control because it seems like the progestin raises your temp as would pregnancy. But I am thinking I haven't ovulated yet. My breasts are also very, very sore, which I know is a side effect of this BC. It's definitely not fun, but I would rather have achey boobs than deal with endo pain/extreme menstrual cramps/pain. I have been having some cramping off and on, but nothing much. It kind of reminds me what I would have before I'd get my period...so maybe my period will be coming soon anyway, even though I was hoping it wouldn't. I don't know. We'll see. I am almost halfway through my second pack of pills.

yeah, I had those sore breasts when I took it too (and also with bio-identical progesterone). It was worse the first month or two and then calmed down a bit. But yeah, better than endo pain any day! Just couldn't lay on my stomach. LOL. I also had random cramping like you mentioned. Nothing major, but just a twinge here and there.
I have been taking another type of progestin-only pill for 14 days now and it's day 20 of my cycle and I had a few feelings of cramping and twinging in my ovaries around the time I would ovulate. Not sure if that meant that I ovulated (which I should NOT on this medication, although maybe I started it too late to prevent it). I didn't get the sore breasts, although it seems to be happening a tiny bit as of this morning - at least they swelled up a little bit. I'll know in about another week when I get my period, how it will affect me. My fingers are crossed!

Hmm, i have nothing to really report. I've had no side effects so far, but I still have pain. Not even finished with the first pack yet though

I've been having more spotting again. Nothing much, but some blood in the toilet when I pee or when I wipe. Almost not enough to wear a pad or a panty liner, but I am wearing one just in case anyway.

I am having my period, I think... I'm not even sure when I ovulated since the temperatures are all wacky in the morning due to the BC... but I'm having cramps and regular first day extreme fatigue and tiredness that I usually have the first day of my period, plus my breasts stopped hurting which is usually what happens the first or second day of my period (My boobs get tender and painful usually from the day of ovulation until my period starts). I'm not bleeding much though. It seems this BC has made my bleeding very, very light, which I definitely won't complain about. Right now it's so light it's hard to even label it as a period, but because of all the other clues, I know that is what it is.
The cramps aren't too bad, but still not good right now. Haven't been bad enough to take any pain meds yet though.

Do you think you are still ovulating? About 50% of women on the mini-pill you are taking don't ovulate. Even if you did these first two months, you might stop after a while. Is your period at the normal time? as I had mentioned before, I had it every 2 weeks after the first month and it was always really light, almost like spotting (just a bit more than spotting). Both "periods" were the same too, so you couldn't really say that one was a period and the other spotting. I haven't had my period yet on the pill I'm taking yet, but it's due within a few days. I'll post in the Visanne thread when I do. I'm hoping it'll be pain free, or at least pain diminished. Today I have been having small pains in my endo area on my right side, that come and go. Just barely there really. Although it's not the same as the pain I get when my period is starting (which is a cramping pain). Seems like it started after yoga class when I was doing some twisting. Kind of like a small twinge. I hope you have a pleasant period! That sounds funny doesn't it? But us endo girls understand.

I am not sure if I ovulated, but if I go by the fact that my boobs hurt and then stopped hurting when my period started around 16 days later, then I probably did because that has been the cycle of my boob pain since I started having a period at 12 years old. Though like I said, if I go by my cycle charts, I cannot really tell when I ovulated by basal body temps in the morning. It has been almost four weeks since my last period.

So I did have my second period on Camila. It wasn't too bad. Cramps on the first day and a few cramps on the second and third day. Then I had spotting for a few days.
I am now 10 days after my period, and yesterday I had spotting and some spotting today. Not sure why, but since this birth control causes spotting off and on, it's not really a surprise. Not really happy about it, but eh, it's all right, I suppose.
Still hoping that at some point the periods will stop altogether, but I realize that might not happen.
Did your period stop, jtean?

Not really. It's turned into light spotting for a day, but then i started cramping like crazy, and now it's like a light period again. I couldn't sleep all night because my stomach hurt and kept cramping, and advil wasn't helping, which is really weird for me (cramping of course isn't weird, but advil almost always helps). But i figure it's related, because the pain started right when I started bleeding again. 12 day period I don't know how much longer I can deal with this, so it better normalize soon. If it was just spotting i'd be fine, but the constant cramps i can't deal with.

Wellll, instead of going away, it's just getting heavier!!! I'm trying to give it more time, because maybe my hormones just need time...

jtean, I hope it just keeps getting better and no more annoying period.
I had a bit more spotting too but that stopped after a few days. But now my boobs hurt again, so I guess I should expect my period in a couple of weeks. Augh...
I am wondering if I should go back to my gyn to get an ultrasound. Every time I do any type of activity or exercise, the pain in my right ovary comes back for a day or so and then stops, but whenever I exercise again the pain comes back for a while. It's starting to get really annoying... and I'm worried it's that 'functional' cyst. Well, the gyn said it looked like nothing more than a functional cyst. I hope that's all it is, but would a functional cyst cause pain after exercise or activity? I really hope it's not another endometrioma. And even if it is a functional cyst, I really wish it would go away. Any ideas? Have you had a functional cyst that caused pain?

If you have pain like that after activity, I might suspect adhesions. If you have adhesions and you move around, it can pull the organs that are affected and cause irritation for a day or two. Have you ever looked into pelvic PT?
