Aww thankyou ladies. I've had no bleeding today, period is over. Yes, when I was on holiday would have been approaching ovulation. I'll monitor it. It hasn't been this bad in around 7 years :-(

So for the second time in my life (that I know of) I had blood in my stool. The first time was my first bm after my lap and was told it was normal because my surgeon had to detach a section of my bowel. I had blood in my stool this morning, it was bright red and there was probably about a tablespoon of it. I am going to my GP on Tuesday to get some stitches out of my hand (stuck my hand in a blender), so I am wondering if I should ask about it on Tuesday or call the exchange. I looked up the antibiotic I'm on and blood in stool is a warning, so that may be it, but the past couple of weeks I've had increased urination and colon cancer is prevalent in my family. Plus, I've had the increased pain on my right side. So, not sure if A,B, or C is causing this. Not sure what to do!

Sorry to hear that...that must be worrisome. If you're still bleeding tomorrow, maybe you can call your g.p. and see if s/he can squeeze you in.
