great news Gem. Even though you're feeling rotten, is the downtime with the bf good?

It is good Rust I'm trying to enjoy it as he's back in work on Monday Tired today but the swelling has gone down quite a bit although I'm still in pain. I took a shower today which was difficult but I felt better after it!

Ha! Better than new I won't be on my own completely tomorrow or Tuesday as a friend is coming over to look after me for a few hours. Today is the first day I actually feel a bit more normal, I even slept in my (relatively) normal position last night which is on my side; I was very careful and had pillows so I didn't roll too much so I actually slept for two four hour shifts, just waking up once which was brilliant! I have also had more BM's which I am sooo glad about! I was wondering how long I should wait before trying intercourse again. Please don't worry, I'm not in any way going to rush into it and at the moment it really is the last thing I want to do! But as they did cut a small hole in my vagina, I don't know if I should wait extra long before trying even if I'm back at work and generally back to my normal 'activities'?

I'd say yes, wait a bit longer. Seek medical advice hon, double check.

I'm with Helene. I would double check to make sure.
Glad you were able to get some sleep and are feeling more like yourself today. That's awesome!

That's a good question to ask your doc but I would think you would need to wait a little longer. I'd be afraid to tear it or get an infection! OUCH! EEEEK! Glad you're doing well Gem! I can't wait to see how you feel after you've healed up!

I hope you heal quickly and are back on the saddle soon enough (but not too soon)! Ha ha!! I have the horn! I am feeling better but I really don't want to rush anything. I don't want to get my hopes up, but I'm excited to see how sex feels after the surgery and without the nodule. I have never been able to have intercourse for more than around 5 minutes without pain starting up and even if I worked around it I would more than likely get a water infection from it. I know it isn't a miracle cure, but having sex that will potentially be pain free and therefore a LOT more enjoyable for us both is exciting!!
