That was a few months post lap when I was still sickly thin but it was a fun holiday! I don't mind being be me cos I'm at that age where I'm used to all my bits and bobbles. You know, as long as I have technology to maintain myself with. I suspect if everything broke down at once I'd look like a hairy little cavewoman with a brillo pad for hair. Cos you can't get a brush through that thing! I have successfully burnt my hair and am going out. Bugger it, I'm going to go get happy.

And that was the first time in 12 years that my hair was allowed to be like that.

I'm glad I posted here now it's been the first time I've laughed all day. I wasn't able to go get shoes and make-up but actually the make-do look is better!

I think it does actually stand for Good Hair Day, but they're a really expensive brand of hair straighteners!

I went out last night to watch a friend's band - was a really good night, but in the next city from where I live so had to bus it home on the last bus. Except the last bus went straight past us, waving as he did!!! So angry! In the end, we decided to get a taxi home; we could have gone back to the venue and stayed with a friend, but that would have meant staying out for several more hours and sleeping on someone's floor and as my endo was kicking off I really didn't want to, so got a taxi home which set us back £25! Not the end of the world, but I don't have money to throw around (like most people) and hadn't budgeted for it. That wound me up.
Got home around 12, I went to bed and the boyf stayed down, coming to bed later when I was already asleep. We were woken at 4 in the morning by someone banging the sh*t out of the front door. Boyf jumped up to answer as I was saying to just leave it as probably someone drunk at the wrong house. The banging didn't stop, the dog was going mad so he answered it. It was a 'booty call' for our housemate...who wasn't in!!!! I was fuming. Who bangs someone's door at 4 in the morning??? She then asked to stay and wait so boyf said fine. He then sorted the dog etc, got into bed and fell straight asleep. I on the other hand was wide awake, p*ssed off and in pain, so couldn't sleep. This girl then proceeded to walk around the house, slamming doors, turning lights on and off and then when housemate came home from night out had a blazing row with him.
I finally got to sleep at about 6, only to wake up again at 9. I am now in a foul mood, tired, in pain and think I have a UTI coming on, but have to go to my parents for Sunday lunch and be all cheery. I love visiting my family (I'm the oldest of 5 and love seeing everyone) but I am really not in the mood now.
Think I'm going to take a shower and put my 'I'm not in pain and everything's great' face on and go for it, hopefully roast potatoes and amusing teenage boys will make me feel better. Failing that I'll come home and eat chocolate and watch grey's anatomy and sulk!!!
