I've been battling a threatening migraine all day long and I think it's about to hit in full force. It's coming at a REALLY bad time because I'm swamped at school. If I get a full blown migraine then I'll be stuck in bed for 2 days minimum. And I have a bioanalytical chemistry exam on Monday. DAMN THESE MIGRAINES!!!

yeah coconut water helped last time. I'm narc'd up right now but it's kinda hard to study when you've got narcs on the brain. I HATE taking these but nothing else works I think the coconut water helped last time because I caught the migraine early. I sat in traffic for 2 hours today so it went past the point of no return.

I am in stupid amounts of pain My house mate is having a birthday gathering downstairs and I just want to curl up and die. Instead I'm going to have to get up and shower and at least make an appearance, otherwise I'll feel like I'm hiding upstairs (which I would be) and people will think badly of me. Damn it

I'm in absolute agony Sorry to whinge but nothing's touching it. I'm taking tramadol and paracetamol and have heat pad and hot water bottle. Just writhing around the bed in pain. I've done some breathing exercises and have calmed down enough to put something on to watch. I hope I just fall asleep soon.

Aw, hon. Hope it passes quickly. Can you crawl into a bath and try to do labor positions? The "seated J" really helped me. You lean back while seated and curve your pelvis under in a sort of "J." Doing this wile doing efflourage helped me a lot when my periods were so bad a few months back. Efflourage is like tickling your stomach in gentle brushing motions. Basically, you can't feel pleasure and pain at the same time.
Good luck with falling asleep. That always helps, too. I used to fall asleep in the bath. LOL

I can't have a bath as my housemate is having a party and people are in and out of the bathroom! I have been doing labour positions and massage all afternoon. I haven't heard of efflourage though so I will try the seated J and that to see if it helps. I feel calmer now, the tramadol at least does that! Thanks, I just need to remember to be strong!!

Phew, glad you at least have some relief. I'm sorry you have a house full of people and can't be in agony by yourself! Hoping it passes soon.

Thanks Karen I'm hiding upstairs, luckily, my bowel isn't playing up too much this evening, as that would be embarrassing!
