yeah hells, remember you only get one chance to heal right!! I still have a horrible ache where I got my gallbladder surgery because I went out four days after the surgery and slipped on the ice... OUCH. Glad your home already though. Sure is easier to get better at home.

So according to my Chinese Horoscope (Rats should not look to make a new start in anything this year of the Rabbit/Cat as we are mortal enemies) I should follow the dreams and whimsies I have. So today I recorded a cover of an Amy Winehouse track and sent it to my friend who plays gigs, to get his feedback and see if he can make use of me on one of his projects. I like all kinds of music so this could at the very least be some fun. I would love to sing at my friend's wedding and have 2 years to grow some courage haha. It's giving me something fun to focus on whilst I have things in my life that simply aren't moving! And singing makes me really happy even though it's only to myself. I'm studying some Alicia Keys and Adele tracks to try next. I have realised though, that my voice isn't as husky as it sounds to me (sad face) but it gives me extra focus to pack in the cigarettes.

Ooh I'm a little way off from that but I'll have to get over being bothered about that, asap! I'm being encouraged to upload stuff to youtube and get the opinion of the general public but I need to work on it a bit first before I can stand up to being picked apart by strangers.

Haha we certainly are not but in their lore they are thought to be so they intepret that as this not being the best year for me to be striking out. Apparently my big enemy is a dragon but the dragon girl I work with is someone I get on with really well!
I am not singing down the phone haha! I strangle when I even think of someone watching or listening so I have to practice practice practice. My friend loved it so I'm going to sing a Fleet Foxes song for him, which he is more familiar with.

Funny you say that cos he keeps trying to get me to sing to him but I go shy when he looks at me so my voice would tank and he'd hear me doing an impression of a dying seagull.

Keri I thought I sounded like Adele but I'm a squeaky one like Ellie Goulding, this has come as something of a shock but I'll work with it. We're so excited about what we could do with this guys, will keep you posted! My friend is brutally honest and would rather have you in tears than tell a white lie so his positivity about it all has made me very hopeful.
Oh Hels, he's judging a dance show on Sky on Sunday it's the final, he's still amazing!
