My mom started using these products called Melaleuca which claim to be all natural and not contain anything that is toxic like store brands. They make everything from cleaning products, to hair and body wash, make up, vitamins, etc.. She has been raving about them non-stop saying that every skin problem she's ever had is gone, my little brother and sister can breath better (asthma), and she has so much energy! You can only buy this stuff online and you have to buy a membership and crap which is what usually scares people away. I tried talking my husband into it and he just wanted nothing to do with it. SO my mom felt bad about me using all this crap I buy at Target so she sent me a big box full of these products (bless her heart, she's so wonderful). So far it has only been 3 days of using it. I used the shampoo/conditioner, body wash, and the lotion. My skin feels so amazing!!!!! And my hair is OMG I can't even explain. It's so clean an shiney and I don't itch anymore!!! I have had dandruff and scalp acne for years and it's gone in three days!!!
But the reason why I mention this is because I FEEL better. I woke up with so much energy yesterday that I felt like my old self again! I know I'm kinda getting over mono that I've had for months but I can't help but wonder if there's a connection between getting rid of all my store-bought toxic crap and using this natural stuff. The difference in the way I feel is crazy!!!

Oooooh changes are afoot...I'm STILL feeling great and it's been around 10 days now. Still slept a lot this morning but I didn't go to bed til after 12. But once I was 'awake' properly, I got up, straight into the shower...danced around the living room to one of my fave ever songs that came on Mtv...dare I say it, I'm even having a breeze of a period? Not too heavy and only minor niggly cramp that I wouldn't even bother taking painkillers for.

Me too. Each one I've had since coming off Provera has been better than the last. And seriously, if I had any PMT at all it was less than a day.

I went to my GP on Thursday as my work want a letter from him explaining my illness (they actually want authority to access my medical records but that's another story). I haven't been to my surgery in ages because ever since the endo, the doctors have been really rude and basically told me there's nothing wrong. So I went to a GP I hadn't been to before to see if he would be more understanding - he was!! I explained everything and what the consultant had said about the possible temp. colostomy bag and was so helpful. He talked to me about the medication I'd been given and the other pain relief methods I am using and didn't talk down to me or patronise me once!! He is also writing a letter to my work place, the contents of which I am very happy with. He gave me a prescription for some ibuprofen and said to come back if I needed anything else and to remember to go easy on the meds. Finally, a GP who doesn't give me a prescription for antacids or say 'cutting wheat out has helped you? Can't be endometriosis then as diet has nothing to do with that.'

That's great! I was just telling the other girls that it's amazing how much doctors can make you feel better just by being good to you!
I find it appalling that your work wants access to your medical records. That's the most horrid thing I've ever heard! It is none of their damn business and they aren't qualified to look at your records and make judgements. It's also completely illegal here in the states. A note from the doctor is all they get and it's illegal for them to ask you anything about your health records. YIKES!
But I'm glad to hear your GP is helping you! That's great news!

Yes Gemstone that is not right? A docs noet is all they need period. Your medical records for the work place is so illegal here its not the same there? Great you have a good GP that will help tho. Double check on the medical records please~
Oh since its Valentines Day for my first day back I am wearing a red dress and throwing a little party~ya dress is not library appropriate but oh well life is too short to care about that lol who makes these fashion rules anyways. If you like it and it makes you feel good wear it!

Gem I agree with the girls. No way do they need to access your doctors medical records. F*ck em if they're that bothered they can send you to occ health to talk to a professional who is qualified to know your medical history as and when you tell him. Honestly my blood boils when I read the way they treat you. I'm glad your doc is as good as we hoped, I know now you have instant back up with notes etc. I have only been asked for access to my medical records once, when I interviewed to work for the police, and that is part of their interview process, clearly stated when you apply for the job. Tell em to stick it where the sun don't shine.
I have some progress, noticed that I haven't had any paralysis episodes since December, hallelujah. Hope January is treating you girls all well.

So far my endocrine class is amazing! Today we were talking about the estrous cycle of mammals and the teacher, who happens to be male, said, " The estrous cycle of female mammals is extremely energetically exhausting on the body. You ladies out there expend a lot of energy to go through that cycle."
FINALLY!!!!! SEE!!! There is scientic evidence behind this. And guess what? We STILL power through even though our bodies are expending WAY more energy than men. So HA!
