I'm hoping you all try to buy fair trade coffee, I did an essay on the coffee industry and it's disgusting how little funds the farmers recieve for their crops and work. Same goes for tea and chocolate... not sure what brands are guilty (for coffee it's Maxwell, Nabob, etc...) Also, coffee shops like Starbuck, Williams, Tim Hortons etc... don't necessarily support fair trade farming... Please think about this when you pay $3.00 for a moccachino, migrant workers make under .50 cents per bushel basket!! If you're referring to illegal migrant workers (no matter the country), I say they shouldn't get a dime--I don't' care how little they're paid, they're illegal. I do, however, feel sad for the legal workers and plantation owners who are paid shoddy wages. I had a friend from Colombia who owned a coffee plantation. The guerrillas would kidnap him each time his crop would come in and hold him for ransom--his crop. That was very sad.

He's okay now, though. He applied for political assylum here in the U.S. for himself and his family. They're doing really well here. His wife has a nice position as a manager in a bank, and he started his own lawn service. LOL. He's probably one of the only legal lawn servicers.

I was a morning coffee person. but, now only take green tea without milk and suger. I think honey is a good idea instade of suger. It took me a while to change my habit. I also added raspberry tea. It is mild but very flevorfull. But, still occationally take other tea while outside. It's hard to make people understand or explain why not coffee, suger, or milk... Some people think it's just too much...

Actually, from what I understand, the large corporations support this by paying *illegal, I'm sure* workers to pick their beans. But this issue extends to MANY products, tea is no different really, same with rice, stuff from the dollar store, etc...
