I decided that with everything I have had to deal with this year I am just gonna LIVE like today maybe my last! I know it isn't or do I anything can happen at any moment as all of us know. One second we are here and the next we are gone. I have lived a conservative life for the most part. I mean I have FUN when the time is right. I laugh all the time but when it comes to doing things I never know when I am going to be sick or not able to because I am in pain. I have let ENDO and my other issues restricted who I am to some degree. Not anymore with this last issue I am taking CONTROL of my life. If I want to meet Cass in the Fall I'm going to make it happen or book a day on sailboat or go canoeing or whatever it is. I have missed out on so much because I have been AFRAID to plan in case I am sick well guess what. I'm SICK! I have a chronic disease that has no cure! SO why let it stop me! I want to know that when that second hits that I do not say I WISH I had done this or that. I know I am not in the financial position to do everything I want to do but the simple things in life that I can make happen I am going to do. Why not! Right

I leave for Florida next weekend:) I fly all by myself for the first time in over a year! I traveled alone so much before I got sick and have felt like I have been trapped here for way too long! So just getting on a plane alone will be great confindence for me! Next sunday I booked a SAILBOAT to learn how to sail with my husband for the day! 42 foot private boat with a captaint to teach us. I can not wait! So I can cross that on off my list! I will tell everyone all about it when I get back it should be a ton of fun:)

My neurologist diaganosed me with a seizure disorder on tuesday. I can not drive or travel alone between 3 and 6 months until we get the right meds for me. Still going to Florida my husband changed his ticket to come with me. No sail boat this time doc said a seizure on the sea prob would not be too much fun but I still get to go and relax on a beach so I am not complaining:) Its been a hard week and shock set in when I got the diagnosis but I am happy it is nothing more serious! Life is still wonderful! Minor set backs will only make me stronger:)

LOL yes I am still trying to build my iron levels up with steak! Still anemic tho. I just came to terms with this being my life and I can either get busy living or get busy dying~ I have choose to live no matter what life is not easy. I have a few medical problems so what I can still be a mom and work at the library. The rest of the things I wan't to do are for me to have as much fun as I can while I am here and get out of the damn bed! I spent too many years there already. I can sleep when I am dead:) LOL

If it's any consolation, I know a few people that have seizure disorders that function pretty regularly once medicated properly. I just hope your body tolerates it!
Whatever the case, your attitude must be commended. I wouldn't fault anyone for having a few bad days, or even a few bad years in your situation. Even if you still have some ups and downs, the attitude you have to bring you up after every setback is inspiring!

First photo on my hike to Looking Glass Falls. I had 3 hikes in Ashville each one involved a water fall. I am laying in bed today looking thru my photographs of the stuff I have gotten to do the last few months. I had seizure yesterday (first one in over a month) and caught a virus so I am throwing up and having trouble moving again. I know not everyday will be a good day for me but the days that I can hike or cross something off my list is what keeps me going.

View of Ashville from the Grove Park Inn. If you are ever in Ashville and want a wonderful view and a spectacular dinner go there! So much history is there we walked the halls for over a hour. I think every president has stayed there including Obama. www.groveparkinn.com/Leisure/TheResort/History/
