A visit to the hospital for me is mostly filled with unpleasant experiences. I almost lost my life there last winter. Today tho a visit to the chemo/ infusion room was like no other day. I usually leave the hospital with a sore arm or a scar & bad news. Today I left with a smile & a overwhelming feeling of hope. I delivered The Stitch For The Cure scarves. The nurses were so thankful & appreciative. The patients look forward to it every year. I got to hear stories and share stories about some of the woman who made the scarves. Thank You to all who gave your time to help someone else. We really do have ANGELS all around us helping to make this world a better place. Attachments:

"Take chances, make mistakes, get messy! You two have found something some people search their whole lives for, and never find. You have a chance for true happiness, something great. Do your best and give it your all. Love is the fury of the storm, and the calm of the rainbow. You will encounter defeats, but you must never be defeated." ~Stephanie Ready~ July 8th 2006~ A dear friend passed this week she touched so many and will be missed more than I can even imagine. I love her like a sister she is in a peaceful place now without pain and I am thankful for this but damn I wish she could of met all of you she was a special girl. She did not have endo but lived with chronic pain for a long time. She wrote this blessing to my husband and I when we were married a Jewish tradition and when I read it I had tears of joy this is how I will remember her she had a old soul, a sparkle that is now passed on to her daughter. She lives within her. Attachments:

Looking over alot of my posts today this year has been one of my hardest yet. Today I am going riding with one of my friends. I have visited the barn & horses but have yet to get on a horse. I pet and feed them but today I am jumping on in my boots & cowgirl hat and taking a ride. When I was little I would always go for the wild horses try to tame them now I go for the horses that will tame me lol. I feel like living a little before this surgery I have about a month to make things happen. I have been gone too long from this thread!

Good to see you back in this thread, Keri! I can't imagine what the past few years have been like for you, but you continually get up on that horse (even if today is your first actual ride). You know we all love you and can't wait to see all the living you do!
