I am adding a new activity to my list. I feel better and am back to work so my mind is spinning with everything I can do. Two days in bed for me is like 2 days in hell! So I am going to walk the Brooklyn Bridge when I am visiting Cass in NYC. It is a hr walk. I have never done it but heard the views are amazing of the city. As many visits I have made there I still have stuff to do! Goal is to walk there and back but if I cant make it I will take a cab back. As long as I make it one way I will be happy:)

I love these pictures Keri, hiking is like food for the soul. The exercise and the views and sights of nature and the fresh air. I should really get a car and go to Wales, it's a beautiful country. I try to take this sentiment to heart every day, and surprise myself with how much I laugh or take pleasure in things like even wedding photos of the boy who called me a jewpie at school. Making a point of enjoying things really does enrich your life

I love the ferris wheel and most of the time it is not big deal for me to ride it. This day tho a storm was rolling in it was cold, windy and the ferris wheel sits right over a cliff over the cliff is Lake Erie. Jacob is a dare devil I mean he will do anything if danger is involved he is gonna do it. Me not so much! I knew that day I had to go on the ferris wheel no matter what. Jacob was actually afraid it was so windy it did look the the ride would fall right into the lake. I acted like tough mom and got the tickets. I said we will do it together and if it falls over into the lake then atleast its both of us. LOL!

This is the view from the ride. Its sometimes the small things in life that you do not think would give you so much joy but end up giving you more then you can imagine. I saw Jacob's face light up when I rode it with him. We were up in the storm, the sun was setting and the pink between the clouds and the lake was so vibrant. I did not have this on my list but I should of had ride a ferris wheel with my son in a storm. Its on my list now and we loved every second of it:)

Today I participated in my friends charity event for Orphans All it was a 5k run/walk. I was not able to run or walk the entire course but I was able to do the photography for her and walk some of the course. I had asked my doc on tuesday what he thought about me running it and he said prob not right now but eventually I could. I wanted to still go and show my support. My husband was a sponsor, Jacob ran it and I photographed it. My friend is adopting a girl from China and this charity walk helps parents who adopt a chance to raise money for the cause. I had first thought I would be running it but with everything that happend last week I get why I doc wanted me to wait. I have another event coming up in October the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer I hope to atleast be walking that course. I was happy just to be at the race. I had a time in my life that I may not have been able to get out of bed to even go. I have a busy weeked I am going to the KISS concert on Sunday night. Its my first time seeing KISS my husband is a huge fan. I put it on my list to Rock and Roll all night LOL or til 11;)
