Nibletz, I hope things calm down for you soon. and Semi I hope you can get through that run today!
I made it yesterday. It was a really nice festival, actually. Full of all sorts of crazies (you should just SEE who comes of the woodwork for a community festival in Anacostia), some good artists, and some really good bands. But I am beat--I only just woke up and I hurt all over. But it was a good day: I like working with kids, and I like wandering around among the crazies. They always seem so much more normal to me--full personality on display!

Glad it was fun! I made it through the run, but on the bathroom break at mile three (I plan my runs with some opportunities to stop) I had a bit of surprise heavy bleeding, ugh. Fortunately I had a back-up in the belt bag and didn't pull an Uta Pippig (Boston marathon reference for any fans out there). We haven't done a half since both of our health issues, so my husband has to check his sugar and have snacks to avoid a low and we've had some close calls. I feel like the super dysfunctional health couple, but at least neither of us can get mad at the other!
Now some quality couch time and baseball, my abdomen feels like a bed of charcoal set for grilling (my analogy in order of this beautiful weather).

Ugh I am miserable. I think I pushed myself today and now I am paying for it. My second period after my lap and I feel like I'm going to throw up any minute. Peppermint tea and heating pad for me.

I'm with you, Nicolle. I hope it passes soon for you!
I was woken up at 3 with the worst cramps I think I've ever had. Have the heating pad on and my cat is giving me sympathy.

Not a rant so much as excitement. After 5 months on zoladex my AF is back after 9 weeks (almost to the exact day too!!)
But i forgot how much it hurts without the calming effects of the pill. LOL.

OUCH! Did some shove a knife into my uterus and then insert about a 40 lbs of bricks? My back feels like it is out of place by about 6 inches, and is tugging on every nerve in my body. My stomach is almost numb from the amount of pain I am in (numb.. but can still feel every ounce of pain... interesting). This "pain reliever" is crap. I could eat the entire bottle and it probably STILL wouldn't make a dent. So... here I am unable to stand or sit up straight (I look like Fritz from Frankenstein when I walk...no joke). I am trying NOT to cry... Because once the flood gates open, there is no stopping them, and I will be crying for the rest of the week. The reoccurring sharp stabbing pain intensifies each time it occurs and soon I will be isolated to the couch for who knows how long(the 2 of us have grown very close). I hold on to humor and sarcasm for as long as possible, because once that is gone... I turn into a screaming, crying, hysterical woman who eats the souls of others. Today's inspirational song: Just keep swimming, just keep swimming... (Finding Nemo).

I'm sorry - I know that feeling where the back feels so out of place. I hope you're able to keep the floodgates in you're able to get a grasp on the pain! (I swear by pain-management MP3s when I'm that bad - helps me focus.) It'll pass, I promise!

And it's starting... The period hasn't just yet, but the throbbing warm pain in my uterus has begun and my back is so tight. I find myself clenching up because of the pain. Stupid period-to-be. I think I liked it better when I didn't menstruate for months on end.

And today?... Nothing! No signs of it! Only a few minor twinges. Odd.

Temp is still high. I'm on day 11 of my LP. I almost wish it would just come already. On Tuesday I'm going to see an old crush I haven't seen in 10 years and I want to be over the worst of it by then!
