First, I consider myself extremely lucky to have endo on the mild side compared to most of you gals on here. I had my lap on June 3rd and have been symptom free all the way until yesterday. I had some intense, all too familiar, pain in both ovaries and shooting down my legs. I'm actually completely fine today so I'm HOPING/PRAYING that it was just ovulation. If it is ovulation then I'm ovulating a week late But, this is how my endo symptoms started in the first place. The painful ovulation led to the painful this and painful that.... Someone give me some hope that the killer uterus isn't rearing it's ugly head back at me

Yeah, mine never went away to begin with... I'm starting to think the surgery thing isn't the way to go since it just comes back. *sigh*

I think surgery is good for diagnosis/figuring out what's affected and how bad, but that seems to be about it in what I've seen. I know there are some out there that have had good experiences, but most of them don't tend to stick around here! Jenaya - my pain was back full force within 2 weeks, but I've been able to manage it much better since. I've been trackiny my cycles to pinpiont exactly when I have more pain and I find it's quite helpful! So far the pattern seems to be a few days before ovulation for me. Keep an eye on things and I'm crossing my fingers that perhaps you're still just healing and that things will settle down soon!

I'm headed down the road for another lap as well. So much for baby curing everything, right?

its 4am and i just woke up with horrible stomach pain on the left hand side where im having all my issues with adhesions. ive not woken before with this type of pain and i want to vomit but the heat is managing to help slightly.... gosh i have to work in a few hours and i start my new job in less than 2 weeks!
I saw both my surgeons a few weeks ago who agreed i will need another surgery but they are reluctant to do it right now due to the how complicated it will be going back in after such a massive op 2 years ago. scans showed my tube and ovart adhesed to my bowel and my bowel surgeon told me if more bowel is out then i may have to have a permanenet colostomy bag esp considering my diarrhea issues to date.
i didnt think this would happen quite so soon, and it makes considering buying a h osue very scary as it means i cant really afford to be sick. anyway im going back to holding this heat bag to my stomach.

Cripes, Cass. I'm so, so sorry. I guess if you really want to risk goign ahead with the house when you're going to potentially be layed up a while, you might buy some type of insurance that will pay your mortgage payments. So scary. Can your fiance foot the payments on his salary alone?

oh gosh dont be sorry, if it happens it happens! we will be alright and a bag would make travelling so much easier haha! like the rest of you girls it just sux to have a surgery and still have pain and you always wonder if it will ever end.
im watching Dr 90210 at 4:20am while i wait for my tum to settle down so its not too bad! with the house, we are making sure that we have atleast 6 months worth of payments put aside in case i need time off. will def take personal life insurance as well to ensure we are covered should anything more serious result.
what are you thinking is going on with your innards? more bowel issues?? sounds like we are on the same page.

awww cass.... I am kinda glad they are doing the surgery again but it's so risky!!! BUt I really think you need it. You seemed to have gotten worse since I've known you over the past few months. I said it above and I'll say it again, I'm SO thankful that my endo is mild. It does affect me but it keeps me positive to see people like cass stay positive after going through so much.
I love this forum!!

yeah they have seemed to have gotten worse this year. it all started with the tube infection at the start of the year. I dont think my gym work and spin classes have helped but im not giving them up its all relative i guess, and i knew the complications of having any adominal op, and also what future ops will look like. fingers crossed we all feel better soon!

I'm sorry girls. I'm already in the same boat too. Pain's back again, but it's a little different this time. Since they excised so much of my bladder, I've had deep, penetrating pain in that general area since the surgery. My adhesion pain also seems to be back in full force. Good news is that the bowel issues have been much better since the surgery, so that's good!

I'm starting to get pain with sex again That was the one symptom that caused me the most depression. I'm so upset that this is coming back.

Me too...I had one care-free month with my husband and it was awesome. It started hurting again a few weeks ago and completely depressed me.
