Hi ladies! Sorry I haven't been online. My home computer is a pain in the as* to log onto. Anywho, had my post-op yesterday. I had a bit more going on than what my doctor divulged to my family, but that's kind of what I expected. The endo I had was on my bladder again, which he removed. My left tube was blocked and stuck to my pelvic sidewall. One he removed the adhesed tissue, he was able to open it by forcing the dye through, thank god. I had one massive adhesion glueing my bladder to my uterus, which makes 100% complete sense as to where all my massive pain was coming from with sex and sitting. My right tube is damaged beyond repair and he couldn't open it. He left it in on the weird off chance it will "magically" open again on its own He's big into keeping everything in if at all possible, so that's why he didn't remove it. Other than that, I was completely clean! It's amazing how I've had the most pain ever from endo, but I had the least out of all my surgeries. It just goes to show that it's the location of where it's at, not necessarily how much you have. Amazing. With the amount of pain I've had the last two years I really thought it was everywhere. Other good news is he doesn't think the Femara will be very beneficial for me since the actual amount of endo I had was minute. He recommends continuing with the endo diet and exercise as much as I can. I'll also look into progesterone cream as I don't think it could hurt anything! I've recovered quicker than I ever have before and feel fantastic! I start work again tomorrow which I'm not really looking forward to I still have some back pain, but I have sciatic and priformus problems, but I'll work on that with yoga and stretching. I'm off narcotics for the first time in two years and it feels AMAZING! What an awful, horrible time I've had in the past two years. Constant, horrible pain that was fixed with one whack of an adhesion. As for my fertility, it's obviously not great, but that's ok. We'll try naturally again for the next 6 months and then go from there. I only have one working fallopian tube, so my chances are crap, but we'll see what happens. Hope you all are doing well!!!

I'm so glad he was able to pop Miss Lefty open, she's gonna have to work twice as hard for you then! I'm glad it wasn't all encompassing like you felt, I know that feeling and had it with my last surgery. Its astonishing when they tell you. I'm so glad you feel good being narc free.

Yay yay yay, so glad you are feeling better already! Fingers crossed your adhesions don't form up again.
And if you need info on progesterone cream or any sort of progesterone supplementation, I'm your girl. Might even improve your chances of conceiving...
You sound much better. Sending you nothing but good thoughts your way!

So this is a funny side note...I was explaining to my boss what they found, and I said "I had an adhesion gluing my bladderus together." Wow. Tired much? I apparently created a new word for myself without even thinking about it. For now on, I will refer to my uterus/bladder creation as my "bladderus." LOL!

Hi ladies, just wanted to drop in real quick (super-busy) and let you know I'm still feeling fantastic! Period was pretty bad, and extremely heavy, but I made it through without any narcs. I started acupuncture again Friday which definetly helped with the anxiety I've been feeling and helped a little with my period pain. It was absolutely astonishing how much I started bleeding the twelve hours post-acupuncture. It was crazy. Had a good weekend otherwise. Started getting my energy back and am amazed at how good I feel. I honestly forgot what it was like to not be in pain - and the best part of all was sex was actually ENJOYABLE of the first time in ages. Hallelujah! I really hope this lasts for a while. I'm all too suspect of the post-surgery awesomeness and know that it doesn't always last, but I'm sure hoping it does
