Okay. So, I posted about a massage today for a pinched nerve in my rear. Well, I just got a call that my appointment has been canceled! The only place I could find to do it today charges $75.00 an hour! I was having it done at the beauty school (before it got canceled), and they only charge $45.00 an hour. I hate to spend that much, but it hurts! Plus, it's a 20-minute drive to the other place. Oh well. I guess I have to do it. $75.00?!?

The prenatal massage was great! I think it will be worth the money (hoping my nerve stays untrapped!). It was the sciatic nerve, and she worked really hard on it to get everything loosened up there. Basically, it is most likely from an old injury and now with the baby hanging out low and gaining weight, it's putting more pressure on the nerve. Grrr!
Oh. Something funny! While I was sitting here typing, I felt her move her feet up under my ribs, then the foot popped out! I actually heard it while I felt it!!!!!!!!!!! Kinda' freaky!

OOOOOOOOOH my gosh! Keep your fingers crossed that she's not coming yet! I've been having contractions all day--both Braxton Hicks and some painful ones. They're starting to get stronger and more frequent. She's also moving in weird ways. Don't let her come until after Thursday morning! My husband's citizenship interview is Thursday morning, and I have to be there. I dont' think INS will care if someone is having a baby! They might push his citizenship out for another year! But most importantly--don't let her come before 37 weeks! She will be in the NICU probably!

Fingers crossed for at least another week Ouchy! Stay in there baby Ouch!
My friend Lottie gave birth by emergancy c-section today at 2am to baby Jake Arthur who was 8lbs and 6oz! All doing well! Ahhh. I also get a bit chocked up when my friends get married or have a baby. I am sooooooooooo happy for them and delighted that they are finally here and all is well.

Thanks, minnie. Well, luckily, the contractions subsided over night. It was just practice labor. LOL! My husband was excited and charged the camera to take with us to the hospital *just in case* . I guess this is a wakeup call to pack my hospital bag, huh! That's a big baby, minnie! Glad it went smoothly.

I know, enormous. My godson Oliver topped that. His poor mum (very narrow hipped) had to have a c-section as he was 9lbs 4oz! Can you believe. What a whopper. He never dropped weight after the birth and evidently most do!
Can't wait to see a pic of Baby Ouchy. x

Oh I have had a few prenatal massages and they are great. I love having my butt massaged, I know that sounds weird but I have been getting a lot of tention in my rump and lower back and it just feels so much better being massaged, well once you get use to some stranger rubbing your a##!
Ouchy is your sciatica feeling better still?
Wow 9lb that is crazy and a little scary. I bet she is happy it was a c section not vaginal delivery.

I am a little worried I will be having a big baby. WE are both measuring bigger than normal but hopefully we will be slowing down as the pregnancy progesses.

Ouchy is your sciatica feeling better still? Yep! Feels better today than it has in a couple months! I have a dr. appointment tomorrow to beg for an authorization/referral to a massage therapist. No sense in paying $75/hr + tip if I can get it for $10.00 w/ my insurance! I think a couple more rump massages, and I should be good to go!

Yeah the iron medication I am on sucks! You can not take it with milk products, cereal, whole grain breads, tea, coffee, Dairy,or antacids. What else are you suppose to eat? Please I am pregnant you can't take my food from me LOL Well at least you past one test ouchy, and to me it is the most important!
