you guys are silly. always ask if the flight is empty and if there is a window/middle seat thats open together. if the flt isnt overly booked (which they havent been cause the industry is going to the pooper) usually they are more than happy to give u an extra seat so you can bring your car seat on with you. just make sure theyre FAA approved, obviously...

Really... you can actually get an extra seat without cost (if they are not booked)? I never realized airlines were that nice or sympathetic. They have always been so rude and mean to me. When I was 8 months prenant I was flying alone and carrying this over night bag down the stairs to board the plane and there were two guys standing there watching me struggle with the bag and never once asked to help.

When we flew ExpressJet jsut a few weeks ago, I asked if I'd be allowed to bring on her carseat if there were extra seats (the flights were wide open, both going and returning). I was told that I'd have to buy another ticket, even if the flight were completely empty! However, no one sat next to me, and I was allowed to take up 2 seats w/out paying. What's up w/ that? LOL!

Thanks for all the tips for flying---they'll come in handy at Thanksgiving.
I have another question, though. Did any of you do perineal massage prior to delivery? Do you think it helped? Do you have any other tips to prepare for delivery aside from taking a Lamaze class (which we did)?
Our little guy could theoretically come any day now, though my doctor doesn't think he'll come before his due date on July 14, so I'm trying to do everything I can to get ready. Thanks!

I'm 32 weeks now and HUGE. I didn't get this big with my 1st one. I feel like I've been huge with this one from the start since I started showing before my 1st trimester was even 1/2 over.
