Gemstone, that's almost exactly what's happened to mine...lower back pain and belly troubles...I shouldn't have any Endo growing in me since I had it removed and then was on the Depo...but maybe she didn't get it all...and who knows...stranger things have happened. It wouldn't surprise me in the least
Chicagogal...as far as the Azo goes, I only took 2 tablets yesterday and they really didn't seem to do much so I didn't figure on taking anymore. My body is full of enough junk as it is. But at least the pressure has gone away...for now.

Think I got myself a UTI. I woke up with my back in so much pain and issues with peeing, worse then usual. I think I let a UTI go all the way into my kidneys. Its a lot harder to tell when they are coming since I have frequency all the time because of the Endo on my bowel and the fact that my bowel doesn't empty correctly. I suddenly realized while watching a movie on Tuesday night that I had been up to the bathroom seven times in an hour and a half and that's a bit much even for me. Headed into my walk in clinic but my actual doctor saw me and had them bring me back to see her. I could barely talk the kidneys were hurting so bad. I still can't take a deep breath today but the fever I had yesterday is gone. Has anyone else had a UTI go into their kidneys and should the kidney pain be gone today? I'm on some hurky antibiotics because of it. They took an Xray and it wasn't a stone. It really, really hurts! I just thought the kidney pain would be gone today??

I had a UTI a few years ago that got into my kidneys and it took awhile for me to recover. It was pretty bad and I had to have two rounds of anti biotics before I felt better. I'm sorry you are feeling so bad. UTI's are the worst. Give yourself a few days and if you aren't noticing any improvement I'd go back and check with your doc. Healing hugs.

Ah honey, they are horrible! I had one a few years ago and it was that bad I ended up going off the A&E in an ambulance - I couldn't walk and could hardly talk. The illness side of thing went reasonably quickly, but I think the pain was horrific for a few days, and it was about a week before I started feeling anywhere near normal, it totally wiped me out. Take lots of rest and fluid, and keep a good book or magazine in the loo!xxx

They said the Urine didn't reflex to a culture but to continue my antibiotics anyways and if I'm not improved by tomorrow to go back in to the walk in clinic. I have no clue what's going on if its not a UTI. My back is killing me. I have the urine frequency all the time so its hard to know if I have a UTI these days. I did have a fever which is gone now. I guess I take the seven days of Antibiotics and...??

Ummm guys... I'm reviving this thread. It's 6am here and I'm awake because.... I literally just lost the contents of my bladder while I was sleeping. I am so embarrassed. I feel like my endo just hit a whole new level. Lately I have had an increase in my urge to pee and it hurts afterwards like cramps or needles in my low abdominal area but this is just.... What the hell?? Is this a normal endo problem? It happened to me once last year too. I thought it was a freak accident but now I'm paranoid that I just have problems and am unable to control myself wtf guys... Can anyone help me to understand why this happened?

Aw, man, I'm sorry that happened! There could be a lot of things going on, from endo on the bladder/ureters, to inflammation in general, to poor pelvic floor muscle function, UTI, or all of the above!

Jess, I'm so so sorry. Are you in pain when you pee? or before/after? Is it easy for you to get to a campus nurse or GP to rule out a UTI?
now that I'm pretty firmly on Karen's PPT bandwagon, I've also realized how many physical therapists work on incontinence issues in women--so there might be something that will help you between now and your surgery, when you can get a better understanding of what is going on inside.
and just so you know, this has happened to me too, not recently--I think I'm too wound up to pee easily. It's actually quite hard for me to pee, even though I have to all the time. BUt if it makes you feel any better, I once peed in my boyfriend's bed. This was the same boyfriend that I once threw up on his penis after giving him a blow job. I was having trouble with acid reflux, and when he came it just triggered my gag reflex and up came dinner. I can laugh about it now, but I couldn't then.

I've almost peed the bed so much lately, I'll have a dream that I'm peeing and that gives me about 2 minutes to realize it and get up and stagger to the bathroom. A couple times I haven't made it all the way, but at least my bladder doesn't release completely. Then I just bring a towel back to bed and go back to sleep, get up and change the sheets after Sam wakes up. Yeh, it really sucks and it's embarrassing. I'm supposed to have a referral to a urologist soon for suspected IC, so I'll let you know what they say.
Rustmyrtle that is mortifying! I don't think I could ever see the guy again. I can't do it on an empty stomach, if I have a sore throat, if my head is congested, and I tell Sam "Maybe later."

Thanks for the kind words, guys And for the laugh, Kristin! I really hope it was just a fluke, but it scared me so much because I wouldn't be surprised if it was connected to the fact that I always feel the need to pee. Is it totally crazy of me to think that it's more frequent at night? That seems to be the case, but I've no clue why.

How interesting! Karla, (& others w/info on IC) is it normal for these urges to kind of ebb and flow? It seems to me that my problems with incontinence, severe urge to pee, and waking up 3x/night to go potty is at its peak around my period and shortly after. The past couple of days feel okay but I still have mild problems. Do any of you have the problem where you feel that kinda tingly feeling like you gotta pee, but you have to check by pressing on your bladder to see if you really do actually have to go? lol

Jess, I DEFINITELY have that problem--having to check to see if you really have to go. I do that all the time, because I always feel like I have to go!
