My friend just got back from Greece and he said all the cab drivers are on strike out there and he had to use the bus. Yikes!

No. We are the nation of 'Four seasons in one day'. I kid you not. We had some amazing weather in April. And a few nice days at the end of June where I got a little sunburnt sitting in Hyde Park in London watching Bon Jovi (swoooon) but no, you can not predict the weather over here!

My friends in NYC are getting ready to try and fight it out in the city. They are in Tribeca. Some of the city is already under evacualtion its a first for that:( Oh poor NYC I hope it skipes over it all. My old boss is in Delaware and he said they are ready for it to hit and everything is good as of now. I wished I could of given him a hug. After Katrina and not knowing where family was for days I dreed hurricane season. I am a wreck like I was when they were announcing Katrina. I have a very bad feeling about this storm and am sending positive thoughts so it stays away from everyone. This country does not need another disaster in a major city or anyone else. I am safe in Ohio but I am seeing so much tragedy everywhere else! It makes me sad!

Oh and Helen becareful over in Greece we have friends that were stuck in the riots over there last month. They had both young childrend too. His family owns a hotel and they were safe there but they had left at one point and were all caught in tear gas! They eventually had to charter a plane out because of the strike. Have a wonderful time dear and enjoy it all to the maxxx! Love ya!

People in DC are acting like it's the second coming or something! Here's to a crazy weekend of winds, floods, and nothing to do but stay inside, read a book, and have sex.
Jenaya and Lady Tewlie, I hope you all keep your power, or get it back quickly. Pepco in Montgomery County is so horrible--I feel for you all. Let's keep the roofs on, the lights on, and the water out.

We are just assuming we will lose power. We're ready I guess. Not much we can do except wait it out. I just wonder how strong it will be once it gets to us or if all this planning is overkill. We'll see! Keri, I kinda have a bad feeling about it too. I hope I'm wrong.
