What's the weather like in your neck of the woods? At the moment, it's quite cold and snowy here. We've got a blizzard warning for the next day!
Unfortunately, I'm quite bummed that the weather will prevent me from missing the funeral of one of my closest friend's mom. And I know a lot of people will be calling in tomorrow as their kids will be home from school, but I don't have any time off from the new job so I don't feel right calling in tomorrow and staying home as it would be unpaid.
I hope many of you are enjoying nicer weather!

30 minus!??!?!!?!!? THere's no way in hell I could deal with that. Oh and I heard that the mid west was getting hammered! We had a snow storm this weekend and it was so pretty! Today we're getting rain rain rain rain and it's in the upper 30s which means I'm going to be soaked all day with ice cold water. I just wish it would snow!

Yeah, 30 minus is COLD! Well, yesterday, we only had a dusting of snow, and I woke up this morning to more than a foot, and it's still coming down very, very fast! ALL schools, including the university (which they almost never do), canceled school. At least that'll make my drive into work easier... At my last job, when the UW closed, they at least closed the office... I guess the upside of the new job is that I have underground parking so I won't have to worry about my car getting buried! Edited to add: I just looked out my bedroom window at the courtyard. Nothing has been cleared yet, which means I'll have to make the trek to the parking garage in knee deep snow!!!! I know I shouldn't complain as we have lots of Canadians on here, but geez, the first real snowfall of the season and we get THIS?

We had a beautiful covering of snow last night, then sometime in the night it started to rain... Now its all gone and melted I can't wait for a bit colder temperatures so we can keep our snow!

We had snow last night and now it is raining. There are weather warnings out and it states that we are going to have huge gusts of wind and snow. The temp is supposed to drop so hopefully the snow stays. Its 1 degree celcius here.

You already had snow? Wauw. I love snow. Probably because it has become rare over here, and it is never a lot and dries up in a few days normally as well. I've never seen it higher then about 15 cm or something, and that was years ago. I can imagine if the snow is knee deep, the fun quickly disappears... It's just been raining over here. The temperatures are way higher than they normally are this time of the year. It's about 8 degrees celcius here.

www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-366617Check this out - honking huge snowball. I drove past it on my way home from work today. It was on the other side of the street from where it ended in the video. Freaking hilarious.

As of right this moment, it's 27degF out. If there had been any wind, I wouldn't have been able to get away with thin PJ bottoms, thin t-shirt, and a sweatshirt, when I went grocery shopping, earlier. Last night, it got down to 11. We were supposed to get snow here, twice, and as yet, none has fallen. It never fails, though, that since I've lived here (upstairs) we get freezing rain, and I have to dump 4 containers of salt all over the balcony and stairs, and even then, I only barely avoid dying as I go down/up the stairs, lol. I don't mind when it does that and I DON'T have to go anywhere, but... man. It sucks, when I do.
All I want are a couple of freakin' flakes. Just a couple. It would make me feel all Christmassy.
