So, I'm doing everything possible to stave off menstruation. I'm breastfeeding on demand, including several times per night as we co-sleep! I noticed a "damp" feeling today (sorry if TMI!), so I took an ovulation test. Wouldn't you know...looks like the test will be + sometime overnight. THAT means that I will probably get my period in 10-13 days! THAT SUCKS! I had hoped not to have a period for 12-14 months after having my baby due to breastfeeding on demand 24 hours a day! What REALLY sucks is that I have endo on my tubes as of my C-section! The OBGYN excised what she could see with her naked eye...the rest will now start growing! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
"Endo''' rant. LOL!

Crikey - that was quick off the mark, especially taking into account the breastfeeding.
It must be so long now since you had a proper period. Was the post birth bleeding painful like a normal period? Or is that a stupid question bearing in mind it all probably hurts?

Oh Ouchy I know how you feel. I started ovulating as soon as I went back to work. That was only 3 months after my daughter was born. Boy was I surprised! I guess that pumping 3 times a day while at work wasn't enough.

The post-birth bleeding wasn't bad...or maybe I just didnt' have time to realize it was bad? LOL! Nah, nothing was bad even about the entire labor. 24 hours even with the dreaded Pitocin (induction medicine) the whole time, and it still wasn't nearly as bad as my worst period, even when I came out of hypnosis due to an evil OBGYN. The c-section isn't the way I wanted to end up, but I was laughing and joking through it and got a free endo excision to boot. The lochia was light but did last about 7 or 8 weeks for me. Sorry this is rambling. I'm pretty tired! LOL! All my posts ramble lately!

Seriously, that's just not fair! I took another ovulation test about 4 hours after the one I saw taht had the dark test line, and the hormone went back down. My temp was 97.3 today, so maybe I haven't ovulated. Maybe I'm just back to having PCOS bullsh*t where I allllllllmost ovulate and don't! Who knows. I'm out of ovulation tests. Just bought 100 of them from some chick in Canada. Grrr! Guess I'll find out for sure within the next 2 weeks, huh!

I'm surprised at how quick that happened! Damn ovaries. How much were the ovulation test? I wanna get some. And if u pump or bf more often then u r now...would that hold off ovulation?

^I'm hoping that if she feeds more often that it will help stave it off again. I'm honestly scared to pump because we've had issues (still have!) with overactive letdown and oversupply. THe tests are super cheap! I found a different supplier who is a LOT cheaper, and the last guy I purchased from was cheap! Here is a link to her ebay store. Oh. And she combines shipping. search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZyouwannaknowQQssPageNameZSTRKQ3aMEFSQ3aMESOI

Hope you dont start! Fingers crossed

I'm not having pain, but I did see cervical fluid. I hope your pain goes away and that you don't start, either!

So, still haven't started and am not pregnant--guess I didn't ovulate but *almost* ovulated. I'm still seeing fluctuations on the test strips.

Better to fluctuate then ovulate! Hah. Its like a slogan.
I came off all meds totally a week ago and haven't broken a 97.8 temp. I'm wondering when I'm going to ovulate and if I will at all!! Usually it takes 2 days and I have a withdrawal bleed.
Either way - say no to ovulation! (sometimes anyway).

I'm having cramps from hell. I hope I'm not starting my period. I actually haven't started up until now, and I haven't been keeping track of temps bc I lost my thermometer. I hope I don't start, though!

Well, no flow yet. However, now another thing popped into my mind---what if it is implantation cramps? ?? Aaaaaaaah!
