Oh, actually... I wanted to ask you something. If you are pregnant your temp stays high, right? It will not drop back down? I was trying to explain charting to someone and got totally confused with myself. Lol.

Hey, tess. I don't think I'm preg. I found my thermometer, and my temps are still as low as they were a while back.
If you're pregnant, your temps are supposed to stay high, I believe. I *think* if it drops back below pre-o temps, that you are miscarrying. I know that is true at least in the begining (sans implantation dip). The temp. is based on progesterone, but after like 12 weeks or so, the fetus takes over progesterone production, so I don't know what happens to the temp. then. I knew I'd be kicking myself in the a*s for not taking my temp more than a few months after finding out I was preg! My husband also wanted me to sell + preg. tests on ebay. LOL!

I went to the gyn last Friday for my anual and to discuss my options as of now for managing my pain. For the past week or 2 I have noticed a change in my discharge (sorry TMI) and brought this up the my dr. she said my hormones are changing and will more then likey be starting my period within the next month or so..... this is the one time that i really hope the Dr. is soooooooo wrong. But the thing is I had a feeling that, that was the reason for the change. fingers crossed we are both wrong

Tiff, nurse your girl before you give her solids/cereal, etc. She will get full on breastmilk and then eat just a bit of food. Solids are really just for fun and taste the first year anyway. That will keep your milk up so you don't wean early, less chance of a period, etc.

We only give her solid about once a week any way. She isn't ready for them. When we do give her solids it is after I nurse.... really they dont need solids for a whole first year??? I was told 6 months

Ooooh. Sorry, tiff. But hey, there is still a chance to keep it away even from now on. If you reallllllllllllly want to keep it away, just be vigilant about nursing! Nurse before you feed her cereal. Nurse before you feed her anything. Nurse before giving a sippy cup. NURSE. NURSE. NURSE! Nurse at night. You'll probably get an extra 4-5 feeds at night if she is near you, even if it is in a bassinet! All she has to do is smell the milk! If you really, honest to goodness want to keep your period away, I have faith you can do it! Sorry you are in pain! Hope it ends soon. Oh. You might actually shorten it by upping feeds! Good luck!

This time it is for real. + OPK annnnnd thermal shift. I will be starting my period in under 2 weeks (unless I'm preg. again) despite round-the-clock breastfeeding! GRRRRRRR! I was anticipating no period for 14 months or at least a year! It's not allll that bad, though. My skin looks younger, sex doesn't hurt nearly as much, and I have wayyyyyyyyyy more energy! It's just like coming off BCP's!

Omig. I had a huge dip at 4dpo. I've only ever had dips when I've gotten pregnant. Mantra. I'm not pregnant. I'm not pregnant. I'm not pregnant.

Ouchy -
I'm hoping this will settle you... I ALWAYS dip about 4 days or so before my period. I ovulated cd13 and dipped today cd26 (13dpo). This is somewhat weird for me, as this is the longest cycle I've had. I thinks this is my fourth period off of bcps. But I don't understand why you had a dip right after ovulation?? You've really only dipped if you're preggo??
Either way. I'm crossing my fingers for you, too!

^I should be about 10 days from my period, though...
It could be implantation dip. I also just started bleeding. Again, I'm 4dpo. This could also be implantation bleeding. Good news is I don't have cramps so far.
