I have been gluten free for 3 weeks now, but have been occasionally glutened - I ate something not knowing gluten is inside. I got bloating in an hour or so and when I read the label on the food product I realized I ate something with wheat inside! I have to say that this is the first month since going off Visanne (June 2012) when I didn't feel ovulation pain. I think I ovulated, because I'm temping, but really, I didn't feel it. I had bad pains each month for 5 or so days before O. So I hope this is a good sign. I will continue my diet even though it doesn't help me conceive. I feel it is contributing my health anyway. charlie29, this diet isn't necessarily expensive, but it takes time to get use to it and to study what you can eat. It is important to plan ahead, but very easy otherwise. Will keep you updated

Thanks! I have been doing gluten free bread and working on what I should and shouldnt eat. It helps and I definitely see a difference when I eat regualr bread. I am nauseous and feel almost lethargic. I have been looking at options for food or food replacements and it seems relative reasonable. Just gotta be picky.
I am looking forward to comin off Visanne to try to start conceiving again. I am just hesitant about side effects of coming off and increased symptoms of being off the Visanne.

I can't believe I'm writing this, but I think I'm pregnant! I took a test this morning and I saw a faint line. I am out of my mind, so happy that this finally happened. We've been trying since June last year and last month I went to my GYN to talk about my options. It seems that you CAN get pregnant with endometriosis. I don't know if my glutenfree diet helped, but I'm still on it. I started it at the beginning of February and I haven't had any midcycle pain since, but my periods were getting more painful and heavier as well. I don't know if it was the gluten or maybe just a change of diet. I try to eat accordingly to the Perfect 10 Diet (but without gluten). When I incorporated more fat into my diet, I had painful breasts and I'm sure it had to do something with my hormones. I wish you all the best!

I'm adding my name to this list We have been trying for almost 7 years & I did manage to get pregnant last fall but had a miscarriage. My endo symptoms have become a problem in the last year (they never really were before). 9 days ago I had my 1st lap & the doc told me today at the follow up that my reproductive organs look healthy! He believes that adhesions pulling on both ovaries were the main problem with my fertility. Sparkle week starts tomorrow!

Good luck to ttc and hope all are well that have conceived!!!
I have a question as im not well read on conception I only know a few things anyhu....I had lap july 3rd n on 7th had stopped post lap bleed then on 10th july started period till 15th july...between 7th and 10th me n hubby had unprotected sex few times then from 15th till now have been having regular unprotected sex according to my period n ovulation tracker im ovulating today we had unprotected sex 2 days ago...how likely is it I could possibly be pregnant I know I sound like mad woman rambling on im just very anxious and nervous we arent exectly planning any children but do know consequences just thought id add during lap my gynar did say its all perfect down there for fertility very mobile and only a small spot of endo on right ovary and now she suspects adenomyosis. ...
Im due next period August 9th according to tracker so have to wait to test but just anxious too x

If you had sex 2 days prior to ovulation, it is possible for the sperm to survive that long. Those little critters can last up to 5 days in the right environment. It is possible to be pregnant. How plausible it is, though, is another question. Just because you can doesn't mean you are.
Do you track your fertility symptoms, too? Or do you just go by days? If you don't check physical symptoms, you'll want to investigate your cervical fluid - it'll be clear, slippery, and egg-white looking if you're fertile.

He was at my gynae app with me but didnt say a single word and we've not really spoke about trying for a baby even though its been suggested by gynae...I know I want one and am ready but he doesnt want more and thinks its a risk cant force him but believe its up for discussion even if we still disagree? Hello, My name is Alisia. I am 25. I've had endometriosis since I was 16. I have two laps, taken numerous birth controls, taken depo-lupron and depoprovera. My husband is 39 and has a vasectomy. I finally just got my period back after not having one for over a year. The pain has been EXTREMELY bad. I'm going treatment free right now in the hopes of having a baby. We are on the fence of getting the vasectomy reversed or just doing IVF. Any suggestions? I'm making an appt to see a fertility expert as well. Thanks.
