hi all, new to this thread, hoping to get some strength. I have endo stage 3 and had lap done back in dec 2011 for removal of dermoid cyst! after the lap i was able to conceive our first child within one cycle. unfortunately i lost my son when i was 17 weeks preg on 18 june 2012! this was due to incompetent cervix (another issue!) after miscarriage doc found 2.7 cm choc cyst on my rgt ovary and has got me into three months dose of lupron 11.25 mg!! little did i knew that this would be the toughest time for me! i have not suffered any side effects however, i am desperate to be preg again after i am off from lupron i.e in oct 2012. tigergrl10 how are things at your end? were you able to conceive?
My life has changed completely, I miss my son every day! i cannot believe how someone can conceive easily...for me it has become a dream!! i can really feel for you all...and happy to be in touch with u and want to say that you are not alone!

I just got out of a lap and hoping to get pregnant real soon. The doc put me on birth control to give time for my overies to heal, so once I'm off it (in two months) I hope I'll get preggers. It' so depressing when you get your period when you're trying to have a family. Hoping to go in for IVF to help with the baby making process, keep your fingers crossed for me too and will keep update you on the progress.

Hi sweet ladies,
I have been off te board the past couple of months, but I have the best news...
I AM PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really want to give all you ttc- ladies out there hope: even after stage 4 endo it is possible to get pregnant. For us it happened the 4th cycle after my lap (where they removed severe endo from my bowel, bladder and ovary). I wasn't put on medication after my lap btw.
Babydust to all of you!!!

I'll add myself to the list also. Had my 2nd lap on August 24, 2012; 1st lap in May 2011 diagnosed stage III, 2nd lap five months ago diagnosed stage IV. Had Mirena removed in September 2012 and it seems that I may have stopped ovulating. You know how (for many) the pain you experience during ovulation is way severe compared to period cramping/pain, well I haven't had that awful pain since ovulation in Sept. Went to Doc last week and she said to use ovulation test kit for two months and come back to see her.

There is a thread about tracking your temperature, I have found that to be so helpful to see when I'm ovulating, etc. and once you buy a $5 thermometer, it's free!

This will be a long post, but I need to say what's on my mind Here it goes ... I thought I will be pregnant by now, but am still not. I have an appointment at the gyn office this week and we'll see what she has to say. We've been trying since June last year and I have had quite a few ups and downs. I've felt quite a lot of pain (not related to my cycle) in my abdomen all these months and I'm not sure wheter it is in my ovaries or in my intestines. I'm using progesterone supplements after ovulation, because I tend to get a brown discharge after ovulation which is supposed to be a sign of low progesterone. After taking them I don't have a discharge anymore, but the side effects are awful - I feel pregnant every month and I get my hopes up, but then it's always a negative on the test. I'm not being obsessed or anything, but I think I should be pregnant by now. We are timing intercourse the way we are supposed to, my boyfriend seems healthy, but we haven't tested his sperm yet. I'm temping and I have a nice chart every month. I tried OPK's two months and they were positive and in line with my temps. I check my mucus and it's fine. But I'm still not pregnant?? Something really interesting now... I felt at least a little pain in my abdomen every evening each month. There were only a few days painfree in my cycle. This month I was really surprised when I didn't get pain two days in a row. And when I thought about what I had eaten that two days, I realized I didn't eat wheat and I ate only a small amount of gluten in the morning (rye bread). I was excited and I tried to eat only minimal gluten for the next days and I didn't feel any pain whatsoever. I did some reading on the internet and some pages say infertility could be linked to GLUTEN INTOLERANCE. Some women even report they conceived after removing gluten from their diet. Is it really so easy? I will try for a few months and will let you know how it goes. I don't have trouble with eliminating wheat because I did it a couple of times before, but removing gluten alltogether won't be easy. But as long as it helps me with the pain and conceiving, it's well worth it. What's your opinion on it? Sorry for the long post

Yup, some women find that's the case. Any time I hear a woman say she has pain a certain time of the day consistently, it is very likely due to a food sensitivity, which can lead to inflammation and pain. If gluten seems to be your trigger, cut it out completely for a while. The effects of a bite of gluten are said to last at least two weeks, so you'll likely get the most benefit if you don't have a single bite. Pop over to the diet threads if you have more questions!

One more thing - women have found diet changes can naturally increase progesterone during the luteal phase. There are lots of resources out there about an insulin resistant diet (which is what helps balance your hormones) but my favorite overall healthy eating approach, complete with the how's and why's is It Starts With Food. There are some amazing success stories in their forum, and it's all due to eating the right nutrients in the right combinations, that's all. If you're interested in seeing how gluten and other foods can trigger inflammation and hormone imbalances, it's an easy read.

I'm due for more blood work and a hysterosalpingography (I'm guessing this is also called a hsg) next week. So so nervous and hoping that things will work out and that I'll get pregnant soon. Karen I've been reading up on the effects of gluten but sometimes it has a way of sneaking in. I'm trying to eat as healthy as possible, I mean at the end of the day you want to be pain free and you also want a baby.
Latika, hang in there. I really hope you'd have your baby soon. Keep us posted.

I had my lap on June 18th 2012, and although my Naturopath Doctor told me to wait at least one year, I have been having unprotected sex since August with no luck. I still have hope & I know we will all get there sooner or later. The best of luck to everyone with Endo, PCOS, & other female problems

I should be on this list too. I have had 3 pregnanies- 2 live births. Conceived within 3 months of being off birth control each time. (This was with my ex-husband).
My new husband and I have been ttc for a year and a half. I am stage 1 but obviously my fertility is suffering the most. I am curious about this whole gluten free idea but I realize how hard and expensive it is to make this happen.
I had my lap in December 2012 and have been on Visanne since 2 days after my surgery. At first it was for 2 months and now the doc has added 2 more months. I cant wait to get back to officially ttc.
