I think it's so sad that we all have gotten so desperate that we actually HATE finding nothing wrong with us. I think, to a normal person we'd all look nuts. But we all feel the same way and understand how frustrating this is! I swear, doctors have A.D.D. they do one thing for you and when they find nothing wrong they just lose interest and throw you to the side. Meanwhile we still have to live like this!
Paint, I would REALLY hate to see you go through what I had to go through with searching for answers. I'm going on 7 months now from being sick and have been diagnosed with 12-13 different things and all of them don't even explain my symptoms! They just keep finding crap by accident but my real problem is still unsolved.
If these tests all come back normal for you I do encourage you not to give up. Just keep trying. It's frustrating, tiring, and maddening and I totally understand how it feels. You always have us to vent to.

My pain has now become excruciating right behind and below my belly button. I don't know what's going on at this point, but the pain is becoming unbearable. I really don't know what to do and this whole situation is scaring the crap out of me.

Just got a call about my fecal samples. All the tests came back negative as well. The lab tech said the colonscopy is still a good idea so I'm going to go ahead and do it.
If it comes back fine then I guess I'll go to the naturopath or see if my acupuncturist has any suggestions. I don't know if I have another cyst from the endo or if I should go see my OBGYN and get checked out. I feel lost.

Aw Paint, I'm sorry to read this. Have you had an MRI or a CT scan? I wonder if one of those tests would be helpful?

I'm sorry paint. What is your real name anyways? Or do you like paint?
I was going to ask you the same question about an MRI or CT scan. Have you had one?

My name is Nicolle like chicago gal, but with an extra l. I haven't had an MRI or CT scan. I was thinking that would be helpful too. I just put a call to my gastroenterologist. The pain is just excruciating. I'm going to run a hot bath in lay in there for awhile. I can't imagine having to deal with this for another week for my colonscopy. I'm just scared there's a possibility my endo's getting all crazy again. I'm a mess. I don't want to have to have surgery again the one in Aug. did a number on me.

I wouldn't rush to a surgery. Maybe you just need to try something else or try to find a pelvic pain specialist in your area. That pelvic pain buy I saw was really talking up the femera with a low dose progesterone BCP and they said that worked really well in a trial they did in chicago. He said the dr. in chicago is giving that to all of his patients with success. Talia's sister used it and raved about it as well. You can only use the femera for 6 mths I think but it's supposed to significantly shrink the endo. I think the bath is a good idea. I have learned with my PFD issues that when I'm "flaring" my entire abdomen is hurting....the second I get into the bath everything relaxes. It's all connected..... Of course when I get out it gets a little worse but at least I know that the warmth of the bath water is a good pain reliever for me. I hope it works for you as well!

I think before you go the natural route, just make sure you feel they have ruled everything out. I think a CT scan would be a good idea. That much pain really is NOT normal and should really get more attention before dismissing it as endo. I just worry

Thanks ladies.
The bath did help a little bit. If I can get a little food in my stomach I think that will help too. If my colonscopy does come back fine then I think I will ask if I can get a MRI or CT scan.
This is a completely new pain for me and when I did have a cyst on my ovary it didn't feel like this. That's why I'm skeptical to just dismiss it as endo symptoms.
Just gotta hang in there till my colonscopy and hope that it shows something.

Hang in there. You will find answers soon! Take a bath daily, sometimes 2x a day to relax your muscles. Do you have epsom salts? If not go buy a bag and pour a bunch into the bath. I do that nightly and when I was researching this yesterday they also suggest epsom salt baths for pelvic floor issues.

I'm feeling better. The nurse from my Dr.'s called me back and told me to start increase the dosage of my pain meds and to take it every 4 hrs to stay ahead of the pain. I've already taken two. I feel out of it, but the pain has definitely lessened. My boyfriend came over and we watched a movie. We also had sex lol so that made me feel better. Good orgasms always make me feel better. He was a sweetie about to making sure I wasn't uncomfortable and that he wasn't hurting me. It was just nice to be loved on for awhile. I have a baked potato in the oven and then I'm going to take another hot bath before I go to bed.
