Got ahold of the Dr.'s office. All the blood work they had back was regarding hepatitis and it came back negative. So now I just keep waiting.

Have they checked for that H plori? Maybe they will check for that with the stool test?

Ugh the waiting game. Good to hear that it's not hepatitis though. That's a really rough thing to have.

Yeah I'm glad to hear that too. I couldn't imagine having hepatitis.
Pretty sure they are checking me for H plori. They are testing me for everything under the sun. Lupus all the other auto immune disorders. He's being incredibly through which I appreciate. I told the nurse that any news on my blood work would be great to hear because it just eliminates options and stress. She kind of laughed at me, but I don't care.

Got a call about my blood work this morning. It all came back normal so now I'm just waiting on the results from my fecal sample.
Thanks for all the encouragement ladies. It means a lot.

You know what's funny about getting normal blood work? It's sick to say but it's actually kind of disappointing. It's not like we WANT things wrong with us, we just want an answer so desperately that we get to the point where we're willing to take anything if it means some sort of treatment and answer to our problems. It's sad but I always get bummed out when I have normal results and still feel like sh*t.

Exactly. If my fecal tests come back normal too I don't know what I'm going to do. The issues I've been having over the past month aren't normal and the pain I'm still experiencing in my tummy is a pain I've never had before.
I just want answers because I feel like I can't keep going on like this. I just want to have a normal life again that isn't dominated by health problems. Bleh I'm going to take a nap. I'm just not in the greatest of moods.

Feeling sh*tty absolutely sucks, but at least it's a good motivator to not give up! I'm just hoping that things subside for you soon.
And I agree with Jenaya - it chaps my ass when test results come back 'normal' and I'm given a pat on the back and sent on my way, especially if the investigation ends there. Fingers crossed you'll get the results of the fecal test soon!
Remind me again - were you going to go to a naturopath? Or am I confusing you with another one of our fab members?

I had an appointment with a naturopath this week, but I wanted to get my test results and colonscopy over with so I canceled the appointment. I am planning on rescheduling once things in my life have settled down a bit.
I wonder if they can find something the doctors aren't picking up.

they will for sure. did you reschedule? My NP is just way smarter than a regular doc. Or maybe he just speaks my language. I have WAY more confidence in him than in regular docs any day, for the simple fact he's going to look at the cause of a problem, not give me a pill and send me home... good luck paint. this is all gonna work out! hugs

I had a million and a half normal blood tests before these doctors found something wrong with me. It's so frustrating. I think I saw a total of 14 doctors? It shouldn't be that way and it sucks but try not to give up. And don't let them tell you nothing is wrong. You know your body and you know when there's something wrong.
