And for the record, I don't expect people to oogle and grovel at my feet because of my chosen career path. I just think if someone tells you their dreams you don't go and smash them like she did. If she had bad feelings then fine but don't put me down!

No you're not that type anyway. You just expect some respect for your feelings and aspirations. Not so much respect, but the decency not to wipe their feet all over what you want to do with life. I don't think she realised how 1 sided and therefore stupid she sounded. Like I said her rant comes off like she's just regurgitating inflammatory rubbish on the net.
And if she was possibly jealous, she might have reeled it off to sound more intelligent. Bore me later.
Frick I'm jealous of people having the focus and talent for learning to gain a doctorate in anything.

My sleeping pattern is all messed up, last week I couldn't get enough sleep and was having 12 hour slumbers, the last 2 nights I've slept badly. So I got up earlyish this morning to try and fix it. Oh mama I'm tired!

I was texting my husband in the waiting room at the car mechanic this morning and some kid (maybe late teens, early 20s) looks at me and says, "There are actually people you know that are up this early? I guess that's what happens when you get older. Kids my age are still in bed this early."  |

Slight moment of rage this morning. Virgin media send me a bill for internet and TV 'your bill this month is £0'
Um that's cos they took £98 last bill. Wtf. That's more than 3 times my normal amount.
I'm not even calling them to demand my money back (I've done enough to know all companies delay about 6 weeks in accounting before they'll refund you anything) and I'm refusing to argue with anyone, I'll have a fkin aneurysm.

My sleep pattern is screwed up after the holidays and being off sick. I used to be able to go to bed, read for around 20 mins, and drift off. I was really tired last night, after getting up again for work the last couple of days. I went to bed last night at 9.45 but still didn't get to sleep til well after 1 am. It's driving me mad.

Totally sympathise. I'm going to the gym against my better instincts, just cos I know it'll help me sleep. Will just gentle but thank god I have something that always helps.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaarghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Domestic disaster! Just went into the kitchen to discover my plumbing is leaking! Pipes under the sink have come undone and there's water all over the floor!!!!!
