This is a step in the right direction - whilst I am still 4th in line for the endo-anal scan I need to see if I need a colostomy and to be put on the lap waiting list, I have finally managed to get another appointment with the consultant at the hospital. I don't know when yet as the app. will come through the post, but I know it will be sooner than this scan!! I'm hoping that I can discuss the further problems since 6th December when I last saw him and how I'm getting worse each month and see if he can mark me as urgent. It's progress if nothing else!!

Good stuff Gem. Your treatment with the condition you're in staggers me, it makes me so sad. I'm just glad you have a good GP now and your boyfriend on hand to help take care of you. Poor babe.
Karen I'm so happy for you! Roll on til 6am it only happens once a year! Just have ample supplies on hand the next day and you're good to go! Woohoo!

Yay for both of you!!! I have good news...I'M FINALLY, FINALLY, FINALLY, getting away this weekend!!! I haven't been anywhere since November, and I'm heading to South Florida today to see my fam and the top Derby favorite at the track tomorrow  I've just had so incredibly much on my plate lately with work, my farm, and my health that I haven't had an ounce of "me" time. I can't wait to just get in the car and jam to music for four hours God I'm excited!!!!! |

Crossing my fingers! My hubby got through the first two steps to get his fire dept. job. It was a written and oral medical knowledge exam and he got the second highest score. He did an oral board as well in front of four firefighters that we won't find out about until wednesday. BUT I'm so proud of my hubby right now. He studied really hard. A provisional job offer is the next step if he did good on his oral boards.

I had an absolute blast. Sooooo much fun and very much needed! I'm paying for it though...I've barely drank lately because of my issues and have been eating a pretty good diet. That all went out the window this weekend. Drank Patron at the track on Saturday and ate what ever I wanted to. BAD mistake Spent most of yesterday on the couch once I got home, and still felt like crap this morning. Oh well, it was well worth it Karen, glad you had a blast as well!!! |

Omak, that's great about your honey! I'd be proud too Yeah I had a couple margaritas on saturday, came home and was a fool, didn't get anything done... but we're learning to take what fun we can get so it was a good thing all in all. Karen glad you got out with the ladieez.... |
