AHGHOISH;AODN;AOIHD;OANS;BF;ADHAOIUBND I've been in all this extreme body pain for the past week almost now. It started with that back pain, right? The pain that brought me back early from Costa Rica. Well. About last Monday it started to spread to my whole body...and by Thursday it was so bad it made me tear up. I spent all weekend in bed, and today called the clinic to make an appointment with my NP and see if I could have a blood test. Well. You know what they told me? The told me I couldn't have an appointment. And that my pain is just from going to physical therapy. That's freakin insane. I went to therapy 3 times over two weeks for a total of 2 1/2 hours of therapy. That does not cause a person to be in so much pain that they can barely get out of bed and cry as they do so. I'm so angry! Why can't someone just accept that I'm in pain all the time because I have a disease and I just want some help!!?!?!?!?!?

I went in for my blood test. All that happened was the lab tech stuck a big needle in my arm (gosh my arm still hurts) and took two vials of blood and sent me on my way. Agh I feel like I'm not getting anywhere!

They took the blood for testing for Lymes Disease. I had it once when I was 4. I'm not sure if they'll check anything else tho

Hi Shannon, hang in there. a doctor is taught that pain is what ever the patient perceives it to be. a good doctor actually follows this rule....Which means that they can`t ignore us when we say we have pain. I do hope you can get some relief soon, and have someone in the medical field hear you. big hugs.

Thanks Tara I haven't heard anything from the clinic yet. They didn't say when they would have my test results or anything...but I'm hoping it does find something just to prove them wrong and say "HEY! There is something wrong with me!"

aaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhh So the clinic called today with my test results. No Lymes. And they said I've never had it. And mom was like "uhhh yeah she had it when she was 4. Bullseye and all. Had a full round of antibiotics to kill it." And they're like its impossible because it would show up in her blood and we found nothing. IM SO ANGRY! The people are total quacks. They don't think there's a thing wrong with me. And do you know how often Lymes is misdiagnosed or missed altogether? 36% of tests come back as false negatives -_- And you know what else is retarded? They took 2 vials of blood and thats all the testing they did. No white blood count, no checks on any of the regular levels, nothing. Now I don't know what to do

Ask them to check the other stuff!!! They have your damn blood, might as well do something with it!
36%? That's INSANE! Do you mind me asking - why is the test not accurate?

If you look up Lyme's disease on Wikipedia it sounds exactly like what I've got. It also talks about the false negatives, and basically its because no one has devised a fool proof test for it yet. They say even people who have the bullseye and the bite and everything can have the blood test and it will come back negative. Hello!? I think they need to do something about this. Especially when people who don't have it diagnosed and treated then suffer life long effects of the disease because it sticks with them. UGH

I never even ended up getting my massage because our electricity was out for almost 24 hours yesterday and the weather was bad (and the first snow of the season). Mom has been doing a bunch of research, she thinks that its from my Depo shot. She's been reading so many terrible things about it lately, and I have been feeling much worse on this last shot than I ever have before. All of these symptoms started in August after I got it. So we're thinking I'll probably have to just wait it out. And no doctors will believe me about anything anyhow. *sigh* This is so depressing

Well I got my last one in August...the 16th if I remember right. So another 3 weeks maybe? I started feeling the typical withdrawal symptoms from it this week...which is usually how it is for me. 3-4 Weeks before I'm scheduled for another one my body acts like I'm a drug addict and I'm just craving another shot. But I'm not going to get it. I wasn't going to get my last shot either, and so I started going thru like "detox" from it and my body had a fit. It was horrible. But then I bought my plane ticket so I got another shot. And now the side effects have been worse than ever before. I just can't wait to see what the next couple weeks will be like... And then a lot of women who go off this shot have like 3 MONTHS of withdrawal bleeding too... I don't know if I can deal with that....
