I guess it could be the suspected colitis so I wait til the flare up goes down. Low Fiber diet is suppose to help. I had the docs say eat protein so I tried chicken Saturday with a gluten free breading and it made this crazy. Atleast I got it down tho then I figured just stay with yogurt and a gluten free rasin bread same thing. Now I'm not sure what to eat. Today it took seconds I was flat as a board and I drank water and boom right back to the bloat. I'm having everything run right thru me too so who knows. Colitis is like this tho up and down flare ups April 7th I will know for sure. Wish that the ct was a accurate test so sick of the wait if the docs see it why can't they just treat it. The waiting game sucks.

I can't believe it's taken this long for the bells to start ringing...there's a woman I work with, around 50, menopausal, has endo, and has had major ongoing bloating/constipation/diarhoea for the past couple of years. She's had allsorts of bowel checks and scans and scopes but nothing has showed up. She was practically living on bowel preps at one point. I think she's down to one or so a month now. Anyways, last year she started taking regular doses of peppermint oil capsules and her bloating has calmes right down. Might be worth a shot? Takes a little while to be effective but at least it's natural.

Thanks for the info Helen. I have pepermint tea I thought of trying just thought maybe it would help the tummy I almost used it yesterday but tried chamolile tea instead. Gonna try pepermit today.
Seths dad had galbladder surgery last year and the docs gave him cholestyramine a powder for bloating and pain. He said it took a good 3 months to get his body back on track. He is a pharmascist and Seth went by the house and got it. Im nervous to use it... Worth a try I guess. Not sure why docs would not give it to all patients. Jacob is home sick again had bronchitis prob still does and he threw up on our kitchen floor today so maybe another bug is lurking in our house. I cant get rid of it we see his doc at 2 he is burning up and this virus that has been going around is coughing and stomach. I even checked him for bloating wondering if it was possible that we have just had a really long virus here. His tummy is warm but no bloating.

Its orange mix and I'm gonna pass on that I already feel like everything is on fire so I'm not gonna add acid to eat doc said not to eat anything with acid in it. I had not seen that til I went to mix it. Oh and it causes constipation that's the last thing I need right now. Thanks Pretty I feel so bad for him I hate seeing him sick. He never has been like this its been over 10 days.

I had almost three months of bloat free. Its back. I haven't changed anything, except I started exercising. Can it be related... ? That is the question I have, I still think my tummy is so damaged by all the surgeries that it can't handle anything. Its the only thing that has changed. I'm eating the same, I'm doing the same everything but BAM its back! I Thought the drugs were helping that my GI doc put me on. I suppose they could have stopped working as my body got used to them?

I don't know what the issue is, but the past couple of weeks I've been bloating up like crazy. Even the past few days when I've been eating exactly what the endo diet suggests I blow up like a balloon. It's so uncomfortable and it's making me miserable.

Give it a few more days back on the endo diet, and if you still don't see any changes, try playing around with foods that are on the ok list, see if you can pinpoint any other foods that may be causing the bloat. I find I have some additional food sensitivities than just the endo diet excluded foods... Lucky me, eh? Remind me again - are you on BC or taking them continuously? Whenever I skipped a period, I was bloated for the rest of the month. I'm sure there are tons of other reasons for bloat, too (bleh)... Whatever the case, though, it SUCKS BALLS!

I'm taking birth control continuously. Have been since my surgery in Aug. I just have my period 4 times a year. I can't pinpoint if that's what's causing the bloating. I'm going to start keeping a food journal I think that way maybe I can get a better sense of what's making me feel like a giant balloon. I want some loose dresses for summer for this reason, but I couldn't find any anywhere at the mall yesterday.

Bloating sucks!! Recently everything I eat has been bloating me, my housemate (jokingly) said that I can't be due on because I am CLEARLY pregnant!!! Cheek!
Food diary is a good idea paint - I found doing that, that onions tend to bloat me randomly!
