I wore a dress again today when I went out, it's that, or thank God leggings and baggy tees are back in fashion, or my gym pants. It's not the antibiotics, I'm just bloated due to other causes now. Mysterious. Keri maybe shopping for dresses will give you a little bounce in your step? Hope you feel better.

We had our beautiful canadian thanksgiving dinner last night. About 1 hour before we were to eat, I became so swollen with gas that I looked like I was seven months pregnant. Thank goodness I was wearing a skirt that stretched, but I had the top of it up around my breasts. I ate most of my supper standing up, as I couldn`t sit. And I had dessert by my self sitting in the living room in a recliner chair. It was bad, I think all the pain came from Activia - I decided that because I am constipated because of all the narcotics I take that I would take the 14 day challange....so far day one was extremely bad......today I am still recovering, I find it takes me a few days to shrink.

Yuck, that sucks! As far as Activia, I used to have it every day until I read the sugar in there kind of negates the good bacteria, so I decided to switch to a pill form to get my pro biotics instead. Plus I recently found out I was sensitive to yogurt so I cut it out of my diet completely! Hope things go down for you soon.

I ate two bagels yesterday and woke up bloated. Not surprising since white bread is really bad for the insulin resistance diet.

Ugh I'm so bloated and uncomfortable today. Had to leave work early because I was so exhausted. My work is giving me so much hell. Bleh. I wish people could understand what endo feels like.

blah bloated basketcase babe! I survived orientation. I bought a new pair of scrubs to celebrate my first paycheck and they fit amazing in the store. I went to wear them that night and they were so tight across the belly I could barely get them over my pants. GRR! I'm sure the bloat was due to weird hours and stress this time as I'm trying to stick to good food choices.

Im still looking pregnant and no BM so Im setting up a colonic anyone try this before? Im so full and sick that eating or drinking anything makes me want to throw up thinking of it. As for the pain Im pretending I do not feel it~ Going to wear some sort of dress today with a long sweater to cover it all up. Everyone at the library I think will expect me to not be at work but life must go on. I thought of calling off but if I can fake a smile and dab a little makeup on cover the bloat I think I should be there it is much healthier then laying in bed.

I had a colonic a few years ago - think I've mentioned this elsewhere. It's a weird feeling, a tad uncomfortable but OMG I felt AMAZING afterwards! I keep meaning to do another one but I never get around to it! It's very gentle too, and if your nurse is a good'un she'll sense any bloackages and stop pushing the water in. You'll feel like you want to 'go', but try and hold it in as long as you can to get the most benefit from it. I had some really old stool come out, and it got rid of loads and loads of trapped wind! Awesome!

My bloating started yesterday (I had gluten and milk Monday... shame on me!) and has only gotten worse. This is either a cruel reaction to one of the best meals I've had all year, or a sure sign that my period is on it's way. If so, it'll completely ruin my weekend plans that I'm SO SO SO looking forward to!

Oh, girl! Hope you start to feel better, soon!
I'm a bit bloated, right now, but I think it's because my hormones are a bit fuzzy, right now. Still not a full-blown cycle (good b/c pain not so bad), and bad (the cravings are AWFUL, and I'd like to fit back into normal clothes without looking like I have post-partum pooch).
Speaking of gluten, Karen, have you tried Quinoa pasta? It's gluten-free, very nutritious, and very satisfying. I don't get regular pasta, anymore, unless I'm in a pinch, b/c I love this stuff so much.

I've tried Quinoa, LOVE IT, but haven't seen pasta made out of it. I'll have to try that!!! I've tried rice pasta and it always seems to bind me up...
My bloating got worse last night, looked like I was 5 months preggers. My period is-a-coming... Sigh...

my bloating was down for a few days briefly because I was eating good, My mom is up for a visit so we are hitting the favorite restaurants and eating all the bad food and yesterday I was MISERABLE... I took a lax Friday night because I was so bad but it never really got the job done and OUCH, my poor tummy. I couldn't even eat yesterday I was so bloated and blech! Its still tight today but my appetite is back. UGH, Slept with the ice pack last night trying to get the swelling down.
