I've always loved it ever since I was a kid. It's my favourite time of year!

I always liked bonfire night best, the night we burn effigies celebrating the last big terrorist plot that we foiled.... about 300 yrs ago

Tara good idea's for Halloween instead of candy playdough I love it! I dress up for work at the library too and give out candy. It is so much fun. Jacob wants to be something scary of course. We have the decorated house in the neighborhood too. Not like what you described Tara but each year we buy more. The yard turns into a graveyard. We have tombstones and skeletons. Jacob and I do it every year. I love decorating for the holidays. I keep trying to talk my husband into being a lion but not sure I can convince him yet. If I am a ring master I need a lion or a elephant something right? LOL Jenaya I want to be in DC for that weekend but my friends here are begging me to stay and go out with them. I have not decided yet where I will be I do know where ever I am I will be dressed up. You will make a perfect Pochantas Jenaya;)

Im so envious, I would love to have a great decorated house, but we don`t have any storage room, so my husband has drawn the line at halloween decorations. Maybe someday if I ever get a garage.

My kids are so funny planning their costumes! One day one of my girls is going to be a cat, the next day they are going to be Link from Zelda. My favorite are when I can get all of them to dress in a theme. We did game costumes like Princess Peach or star wars with princess leia. We have safe down town trick or treat here, and a carnaval afterwards put on by the local churches. Its a great time!

Most years I spend Hallowe'en in the house on my own waiting for kids to knock so I can give them sweets. I still do this though, every year, with no kids in the house, at least 2 of them...just for me: Attachments:

I started to put out my pumpkins. Just two LOL. They are candy dishes but not sure what to put in them this year? Maybe sugar free gummies? The neighborhood is at my house all the time Jacob is the kids house that usually has the best candy and I have it from October 1st til the end of the month. So this year not sure what to do. They can eat it but everytime I walk into my dining room I will be tempted!

Oh just get the candy. You want your kid to be popular right? Otherwise they will say "the house with the crappy candy" and he will never live it down lol

I was always the house with the crappy candy! My mom bought those assorted generic brand ones that are pure colored sugar. YUCK! HAHA Aside from that though, I love halloween!
