I love it! Next time we have a problem, I'm coming to you!! Getting him to the bus stop is brilliant... ha, no extra sleep for you! Sounds like once his suspension is over he will be so happy to go back to school!

My yard work is complete, the garbage taken out and brought back, dishes done, supper in the slow cooker, floors swept and washed, dusting and vaccuuming done, and the last laod is in the washer...LOL.
Maybe next time he will think twice and all this is only on the first day. He still has another 4 to go.

I feel like this is a blog...
So its day 2 and i already have him up and at it and is he ever mad. He's yet to find out he's going grocery shopping with me and to my doctors appt. I have a review of my meds today.
Im second guessing myself, is what im doing to much punishment?

Im trying but my son is stronger. He has ADHD-ODD so punishments are very hard to keep up with. So far i've stood my ground but im NOT having a good day at all and when he see's that im in pain he will jump right on that. I made him watch videos on the internet yesterday of drug addicts and their testimonials...it grossed him out which is a good thing. I dont have alot of strength today but i sure hope what i do have is stronger than his.
Thanks for the encouragement Karen!

Especially let him see ones about meth-addicts, and people who drop too much acid. That'll traumatize him REAL GOOD (said in manner of Archie from "A Fish Called Wanda").
Oh, yes... if you wanna really freak him out, make him watch "Intervention."
I can't get through a whole episode, without crying and/or changing the channel.

I had a former student that died from a meth overdose. Was driving, was so messed up that he got lost in some field or forrest, tried to call his parents to find him but he was soooo far out in the boonies, he parked his car in a field and sat up against a tree. It was April, but it snowed that night. They found is body 2 days later. Turns out he had turned down some farmer's access road and was about a mile into this guy's property. It can do strange things. At the funeral, one entire side of the church was all his peers. At one point, the pastor turned to them and said if anyone else was having similar problems, it was their duty to inform someone. Really rough funeral. He had already done one stint in rehab and was only 17 when he died.

OMG guess what....
He's suspended AGAIN!!
Call from the principal...."AJ skipped 4th period yesterday and when he was asked today for his note he walked away. We followed him for 10 minutes and he refused to stop. We have seen him in the smoking pit a few times over the last few days and grade 9's are NOT allowed to be in there. After getting him to finally stop wandering the halls, he advised his pregnant science teacher that she wouldnt be in that prediciment if she spit instead of swallowed".
O boy do i have my work cut out for me yet again.

OK...so ive decided to sell my 14yr old or maybe pay someone to straighten him up. GUESS WHAT??? He got suspeneded again today, less than a month after his last one. This time he beat the pulp out of a kid that shoved him. I guess him and this other boy have been having "issues" all year and it took this to finally say "i think its best if they werent in the same class". YA THINK!!! Any takers on the boy? lol

O boy do i have my work cut out for me yet again. Maybe you can sign him up for some women sensitivity classes or something. Or getting him to volunteer in the cancer wing of a hospital. That might put things into perspective for him. I don't know... Punishing a 14 year old boy is a tough one.
