And if you do get pregnant while using progesterone (cream or otherwise) like I did with my daughter, your OB will probably want you to stay on the supplement until you're out of the first trimester for fear of miscarriage!

Thanks. Yeah last month I was pretty regular. Its just getting back into the swing of things. I had to stop it 3 days early (word from ER doc) because i was just in so much pain and doc wanted to get my period started in a hurry. I have always been afraid of BC and I just think I'm going to come off. I can't get in to see the gyn until may, so I will wait it out and talk with her then.

If you're really, really not feeling like yourself even after you get on a schedule, don't be afraid to at least call your doc and see if she'd be willing to change your prescription before your next appointment. She may or may not accommodate you, but it's at least worth a shot if it comes down to that!

KSA, I just think it's weird that the month I start taking it my pain gets worse. Then I start having other issues. Anyway I stoped taking it without talking to my doctor. I won't be abke to even see a gyne until may so I am pretty much on my own until then. I see a nurse practitioner on some saturdays but she doesn't really seem to help a whole lot besides getting me the referral to OU womens center in May. I'm kindas on my own until then.

Ok here's the word, I started my period and the pain is about a 5 or so. Not nearly as bad as last month when I was on the birth control. I'm shuddering just thinking about that pain!! So it seems to me that the birth control was making the pain worse, not better.
So my question is, has anyone else notice a significant increase in pain and bleeding after taking the pill? Even for a short amount of time?
