ugggghhh I am definitely having pain in that area still, but no crazy stabbing. Also all my lymph nodes in that joint are very swollen and painful again. The swelling in them actually never went down a whole lot before, but I had a few months without pain in them, and now it's back.
Blehhhh I don't see how the endo could really be doing much if i can't even have a period. I've been lazy about calling my doctor, but I obviously need an ultra sound so i can stop just guessing about things.

jtean, have you had an ultrasound yet to check what's going on with that cyst?
I wish both of our cysts would just shrink already!!!! I am still having pain off and on from that cyst on my right ovary and just wish it would go away already. :-\ So annoying!
I hope you are feeling better.

Do you realize those endometriomas will not go away unless surgically removed?

I wouldn't say that's COMPLETELY true. I've spoken to a couple of other people who have had them disappear/shrink while on BC. It's not IMPOSSIBLE, but yeah... I don't think it happens very often, but I need some sort of hope here, so please don't take that away from me/us.
I really need to stay away from surgery if at all possible as my health (other health problems besides endo) and surgery do not mix...

humupd.oxfordjournals.org/ This was very cool as I don't see many research papers done on Endo, but this one is on endometriomas. Its a bit wordy to read the whole thing but very well written and the conclusion is interesting. Anyways... I have been on Progestin for almost a month now. Have any of you been able to associate really mind numbing fatigue with it? I'm uncertain if its that, or a mixture of one of the other various things I'm on. It only hits everyone once in a while and its getting super frustrating. It actually makes me sick to the stomach, because I'm so tired my eyes won't stay open and my head is bobbing. Its not the kind of "take a cup of coffee and it will go away" fatigue either as I have tried taking decaffeinated five hour energy and it doesn't touch it. Its quite incapacitating. I'm looking up interactions too but I had to wonder if it was just the Progestin/Norethindrone?

the progestin I take doesn't seem to make me tired (dienogest). Nevertheless, I take it before going to bed. I have taken norethindrone before too and that did make me feel tired, at least in the beginning, but it wore off after a while I didn't notice it later on (did start taking it before bed too). Natural progesterone definitely made me tired, more so than the progestin, but if I took it at night, then I was fine in the morning. The effect seemed to decrease as I got used to it. Since you have just started the progestin, it may take a bit for your body to adapt, or maybe your dose is rather high? Are you taking it before going to bed?

I was taking it in the morning, I tried to switch to evening but I have a lot of other drugs and they have to be taken at different times. I think I may have to try and switch it to evenings again as I can't function like that!
