I'm definitely having my Mom take me out on Sunday. I've got to enjoy parts of this at least. I've heard Bend is beautiful too so I'm going to bring my camera. Thanks for your awesome tips as usual. Hopefully my stomach will cooperate and let me eat. Oh and I get to meet you!!! SO excited.

HELL YES SHE IS!!! The only reason we wouldn't be able to make it work is if I can't get over the pass safely alone due to weather. BUT, I think it'll be fine. Fingers crossed!!

My Mom and I made it to Bend. We are staying in this adorable little cottage. It was quite the experience getting here, but we made it. My pre op appointment with Dr. Redwine is at 10:45 on Monday. After that I have another pre op appointment at the hospital where I will be having my surgery. I'm having surgery on Tuesday. I'm just not sure what time yet. The weather better cooperate so I can meet Jess!!!!

I had a wonderful day in Bend with my Mom. We went to breakfast, ran a few errands, and found Dr. Redwine's office and the hospital where I will be having surgery. Then we came back to the cottage for awhile to rest and then went to a nice seafood restaurant by the water. The seafood restaurant even had a gluten free menu. It was a wonderful meal and I don't feel the least bit sick. Love how that works. I'll post about my pre op tomorrow. Then you girls are going to have to deal with me venting about the dreaded bowel prep.

Well my pre op appointment was interesting. I'm actually in much better shape then Dr. Redwine originally thought. He said my physical exam was good. He didn't feel any cysts and my ovaries and uterus felt normal. It seems that I've been misdiagnosed by other Dr.'s I have seen previously to Dr. Redwine. He said my right ovary felt fine and there was no reason to think that it is adhered to my pelvic side wall. He did feel some nodules in my cul-de-sac area, but he said they weren't hard or super big which is good.
He's not even completely positive I have endo on my bowel so we will have to wait and see. He said often times surgeons misdiagnose. Apparently he has seen that happen to a lot of girls he's done surgery on. So basically at this point it's hard to know what to expect.
Dr. Redwine still wants me to do the bowel prep just to be safe. It's only a half a gallon thank god so this bowel prep will be a piece of cake compared to when I had my colonscopy.
He doesn't think I have diaphragmatic endo, but he's going to take a look just to make sure. He also thinks there's a big chance I won't have to have a bowel resection which means that I can probably come home after my procedure tomorrow. I would love it if I didn't have to stay in the hospital overnight.
It's actually much better news then what he anticipated. I feel sort of silly now. Like I made this into a bigger deal then it actually ever was. Either way I'm here and at least now I get to have excision surgery. I'll let you girls know when I have more details tomorrow. My surgery is at 7:30am tomorrow so I have to be the hospital by 6:00am. Thanks for all your support ladies.
