Hi All,
Just to let you know I was doing a new regime an I wanted to keep you all updated. I have been in terrible pain for a long time with my endo and I decided to do something about it.
The regime I am following is very severe but I don't mind as I have gone back to living a normal life!!! I have only had 2 cycles since doing the regime but have had no pain for the first time in about 3 years.
If anyone does decide to try my regime out please let me know how you get on and see if it works for you too.
Firstly I have to say i got a blood test to identify foods my body has created antibodies to. I have not listed all the foods I have excluded as many of them are probably individual to me but I have listed the ones that I feel have made a huge difference in excluding.
Also please bear in mind I am not an alcohol drinker, I don't drink tea or coffee or fizzy drinks. I also don't smoke. (However I did do all these things before I got ill with endo)
Ok...
I take:
Lamberts one a day high potency multi vitamin (one a day with food)
Biocare's 1000mg vitamin C (I take this three times a day once with brekkie and once with lunch and one with dinner)
Osteoguard made by Lamberts...2 a day.
Biodim made by vitamin research company (this is a fairly new edition and I had already seen results before adding this to my line up)
Calcium-d-glucarate 500mg made by nutri...again I added this later and had been seeing positive results before using it.
Combizym enzymes (bought from mycare.de in germany) they are to help you digest foods they do not need a prescription you take one with each meal.
VSL3 a very strong probiotic which I order from a company in the netherlands. I take 2 sachets with apple juice in the morning and one at night. (check for them via google) they are available in the U.S as well but there are no stockists in UK)
I have also been taking thyroxine (eltroxin) now there is a lot of controversy surrounding thyroid tests. I have very high TPO antibodies which are indicative of hashimotos however my TSH and FT4 are in the "normal" ranges with the FT4 the ranges are 9-21 I am at 10 so I asked my dr to allow me to take thyroxine to get me to a midway point at about 14/15 I have to have my bloods tested tomorrow. I am on the smallest dose of 50ug so I may only have gone up a point or 2 but it has made a tremendous difference to my fatigue along with all the natural supps. Never take thyroxine without being watched over by a dr as it can be dangerous if you have to much in your body.
Homeopathy:
I take something call ovarial cyste, sepia and belladonna...2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. (I put 30 drops of each in a litre of water and drink slowly over 24 hours)
Herbs:
Agnus castus tincture (40 drops twice daily and licorice root tincture (30 drops twice daily)
Foods I avoid:
All dairy
All wheat
Tomatoes and any tomato sauces etc
Potatoes (I have sweet potatoes instead)
Any cocao based products i.e Chocolate
I have increased all my whole grain foods (excluding whole wheat) I eat lots of oats, buckwheat (which although names wheat is not actually wheat!), rice.
I have also increased my intake of seeds. As my digestive system is not what it should be thanks to various viruses ie gastric flu I make sure the seeds I take have been crushes. a good company to use is virginia foods.
I also put cold pressed olive oil on everything!!
I will keep you all posted on my pain management and I am delighted my pain has gone!!! I have to be honest though I have no idea how it affecting the endo and cysts but I hope the loss of pain is an indication that my endo is getting better. I am having my ca1-25 levels tested tomorrow as well to see if they have gone down.
Thanks....good luck with it all
