I'm looking forward to seeing how you do with all that, definitely keep us posted! My GP (the ass who knows nothing about endo, ugh) tested my reflexes and the power in my legs today, said my symptoms point to a serious issue and he is worried but as the issues are intermittent he doesn't think it's anything like damage to the spine or bone cancer (wtf moment there!) but probably connected to the problems I'm having with my hip and my left leg which the gynae thinks is an endometrioma doing a jig on my sciatic nerve. He said there's nothing I can do myself to help the issue any more than what I've done (hot water bottle on the lower back, keeping movement going, sitting correctly and not for too long) and he can't help with the pooping issues which are also unpredictable and intermittent. He said if it happens again in the next week to go back and he'll do me an urgent referral to 'someone else'. Nice bit of mystery there but he said it requires more than a gynaecologist. I had a random episode this morning where I had to cancel my appointment because I couldn't get up, I literally woke up not able to get out of bed because it felt like I was asleep from the waist down

Sheesh Cherry, this guy sounds like he needs a replacement. Its so frustrating that the doctors basically say they can't do anything about the issue, but really, its the cause that needs to be investigated. So maybe he can't make your poops regular right off the bat, but it obviously means something is amiss and he should look into what that is, at least. So many times I feel like they think we're making all these stories up and so many of the symptoms we mention are just overlooked as being dramatic. So many problems that my new doctor has identified are symptoms of constant infection in my body. But he says that they've been there a long time so the doctors are writing them off as being "normal" for me, but he says it doesn't matter who you are, they aren't normal and are your body's signs that something isn't right. And the more these signs are ignored, the more pronounced they become and the more problems you have to deal with because your body is sending stronger signals to try and get your attention. The problem is, they catch our attention alright, but these stupid doctors who can't seem to think outside a 2x2 box don't see anything wrong. Ugh. Frustration.

Ugh, has to be frustrating, Cherry! Can you get into a chripractor at all? See if that'll do the trick?

I don't know how I'd even go about finding one If it happens again even once in the next 7 days I am getting back on his case. He seemed to genuinely care this time not just smirking at me like he thought I was a head case, I just don't get why he wants me to wait another week when it's been going on a while already and seems to be progressing. It passes after a small amount of time so it's not like I can go to the A&E or emergency care docs. I can at least accept that there's no cause for panic because if it was something serious it wouldn't be as unpredictable and fleeting and occasional as it is, I'm thankful for that but it's still distressing when it happens.

Cherry, I'm worried after reading what you said. I want you to get answers sooner than later - this sounds concerning. I'm totally chicken little today and the sky is definately falling IMO after reading up on my possible symptoms ( see my stuff in the my difficulty passing urine thread ). I'd try to get to a chiropractor - you might have the same type of issues as I do with the hip being out of alignment.

I promise if this happens even once again I'm calling urgent call or my doctors if the place is open. I'm fed up of my body it's letting me down so badly lately. My right hip is clicking today in addition to pain in the left because the fallopian/cyst/wtf it is pain is kicking off royally again. I might take a leaf out of the book of the dogs you see on tv, I'm going to give up on my hips altogether and get fitted with wheels, kinda like a segway.

AW! I totally know how you feel, I'm so let down as well - I want answers. Friday can't come soon enough for me! I want the MRI to help figure this out hopefully.

That clicking def sounds like an alignment problem!! I get that when things are bad, and my PT assumes that all the inflammation & stuff is what causes it, kind of just pulls it all out of whack. Please keep an aye on it. Do any stretches help?

I exercise a fair bit, in that I'm prolific but not harsh and more careful recently, and I thought that would help it settle but it carried on and I felt like the leg was going to come out of the socket at one point. I had to squeeze my knees together and keep them locked like that to stop the clicking while I was doing crunches. I had a hot bath (muscles seizing up aargh) and slept with a huge pillow between my knees which seemed to sort it out. I hate it when my right hip starts it makes me feel like my body is falling to pieces like a cheap gadget. It usually starts when things are getting bad downstairs. Thanks Helen, luckily I'm handling it well and not panicking when it happened the other day I pulled myself into a sitting position and read then slept a bit more. I have the luxury of that with my work hours. I take a hot water bottle to work which is terribly for the tickling pain in my back but keeps me feeling 'alive' from the waist down. My doc nearly died (seriously, terrible prude you'd think I was stripping my underwear off he looked terrified and said 'you don't need to do that!') when I took my cardy off so there's no way he'll oblige me by checking out my lower back. Bizarre man.

Haha both would suit me fine right now! Yeah I only saw him because the GP I prefer, I'd cancelled my appointment earlier in the day. I had a weird episode in the shower this morning I won't see the doc til I know it was this same problem, but my right leg nearly went out from under me. I was still half asleep so I can't say that I knew what was happening but I'll keep ya'll updated. How are you girls doing with the tingly tummies? Aargh has anyone had that horrible tickle/pain. Drives me crazy it's almost like my insides are itchy!

Oh yeah I get that under the skin itching a lot - you should have seen me a few years ago, head to toe urticaria for 7 months. Absolutely sounds to me like nerve problems cherry.

Cherry - I hope it was nothing for you this morning - be careful - I'm worried about you! I'm having my own pity party tonight - I literally feel like my lady parts are going to fall out of me. See my update in my difficulty passing urine thread. Ugh. Shoot me already......I can't take this much more - very upsetting and uncomfortable!
