I've said it before and I'll say it again... Normal women have one week a month where they don't feel well. I get one week a month where I told feel like total crap.
I've been done with my period for about....4 days, and of course my ovary pain has started. I will have that for about the next 2 weeks, then the PMS kicks in, then the period with the cramps.
*sigh* I keep thinking maybe this month I won't get the ovary pain. I'm SO fed-up. I had no issues on the right side until they removed my left ovary, since then it's every month. In january they saw I had a 2cm cyst but weren't too concerned because they said it could be an ovulation cyst that I could get every month and will go away on it's own (and by that they mean, it will break and cause you unspeakable pain). I'm worried that it's not going away and will get bigger and my right ovary will need to be removed before I'm done using it.
I guess I just wanted to whine about it.

Ugh...cysts suck. I'm with you! The monotony of the pain can really get to you. Makes you feel a whole lot older than you are. Anyways...hopefully things will settle with your cysts. If they break, just hang in there and drink lots of water to flush your system...and get LOTS of sleep. You probably already know the drill! Just wanted to reply and hope you feel better. Take good care of yourself!!

Actually I have no idea about the water thing. Does that help?!?!?
Unfortunatly I can't just lay around and sleep, my job is really crazy right now and I have to be there.

I feel your pain I haven,t had a period in a couple of months but I still I have awful cramps and pain on my remaining overy everyday. My doct tells me to rest and take it easy but thats easer said then done since I have a son and bills to pay so I can't just lay around. Its funny for me when the girls at my office complain that they have cramps when they are on their time of the month I tell them to suck it up because thats how I feel everyday but worse and they expect me to suck it up. I really wish they would find a cure soon because this is getting tiring and expensive. Well stay strong and maybe see another doctor and tell them your concerns with the cyst.

WOW...Yeah that's EXACTLY how it is. Girls say "oh, i know how you feel, i hate cramps" and in my bitchy hormonal state i want to tell them where to stick it.

I guess I'm lucky, I have a friend who had bad cramps during her period recently and she texted me and said 'OMG I can't believe you have to put up with this every day, you have my sympathy'. I love her.

My pain is back, I really thougth the meds were working. it's been two weeks of daily pain. I can't take the pain meds that the doctor gave me (halperodol) as they make me sick, and then I can't work. I have an appointment on Thursday next week to see my gyno/specialist. But it is hard to get to that day, I spend everynight under the heating pad, and all day waddaling around...My 3 year old son, kisses my tummy to make me feel better (how sad is that, we are suppose to be outside playing, and stuff, and instead he is wishing me better). And it is really hard to be at work trying not to be crancky and having to listen to other people's problems, when all I want is to be pain free.

I had a bad/disapointing doctors appointment yesterday, my pain came back three weeks ago, and I was struggling to just make it to my dr appointment, I almost went to emergency twice.
He said to keep on the same meds, up'd the pain meds that I told him made me sick. He is doing an ultrasound in three weeks (that is the earliest time I could get). He said we will wait and see if the cycsts have come back, if they haven't I have to deal with the pain, and that's all. If the cycsts are back he will contiplate another lap (it has only been 8 months since my first lap). He said that they just don't know enough about endo to know if doing a lap everytime you have pain to remove any addhesions is proven to help or if it makes things worse.
I came away in tears - oh ya when I told the doctor that I was really emotional, he said yes of course you are, when you have that bad of pain, you will be. (but didn't offer any help).
I came away feeling so out of control. I know that I have to wait for the ultrasound, but I was expecting more support for the pain, not just an increase in the meds that already don't help...
But last night I felt better. I came up with a plan that I think I can work with. I will start back on the endo diet, but start slowely. So this week I will eliminate wheat. I will also make two meals on sunday, to eat during the week, so I will just have enough portions to alternate everyday, and my family can carry on eating what they normally eat. I have a easy exersice plan to follow.
So I felt better today - more incontrol of myself, Still having excrusating pain.....But this way I know that I am doing everything I can to control my endo.
Wish me luck.

Nothing worse leaving a doc appointment without a plan that will give you some immediate relief. So frustrating, isn't it? Is this a doctor you trust, or can you find another one that may be more helpful? But, I do have to commend you for taking action and doing what YOU can. Sounds like you have a good plan to get back onto the endo diet, and fingers crossed you'll get some relief! Have you seen my posts about pelvic PT? I'm amazed at how well 2 sessions has helped with what I call my adhesion pain. Might be something to look into? Although if there are cysts, you might have to be careful. Wishing you speedy relief!

Thanks guys - my exersize plan is just that if I don't get out for a bike ride with my kids in the eveing due to weather, I will do some exersize on the WII - I have a gilian michaels game that I like. And I am going to try and walk my dog in the mornings. That's all my plan is, not a big stretch.
Unforntunately I have had another set back which is that I am now not sleeping well, I have been awakened in the night with pain that usually takes hours to get back to sleep. So I now find everything hard ( you know how everything is exagerated when you are sleep deprived).
Karen I do have faith in my doctor, he is the top gynocologist in the city, so that is at least a bonus. And thank you for the link, If the ultrasound doesn't show cycsts, I'll look into it.
Thanks for listening.

Hey Tara I totally agree, everything is always worse if you can't get a good sleep first. My husband is like 'why are you being such a b&%ch! everything is fine!' and I say 'well honey, next time you wake up at 3 am to go to the bathroom, and SIT THERE for an HOUR and NOTHING HAPPENS, you try to stay in a good mood too!' of course he then shuts up completely and I feel terrible.... good thing he's not too sensitive, and usually he's the grump, not me, but still.... makes me feel like I'm simply not myself. I feel for you girl! Hope it gets easier. Pretty

Well, I have my `normal daily pain` which is usually local on the right side of my abdomen, sometimes radiating to the left, and my lower back. Well for the last week I have had horrible, take your breath away pain in my back, and both hips (though usually at different times), and my abdomen pain is alot worse. Yesterday I finally got to the doctor, and he said, that it is just my endo pain getting worse, and he ìncreased my narcotics. Thankfully it worked for the back pain, but the hip pain is still very intense. It has been keeping me up, so much that my eyes are burning, I just want to sleep. I am sitting under my heating pad, but even that isn`t cutting it, and it is just making me hot. Ah, why does it have to be like this...
