I totally hear you Tara. My pain is very similar to yours.. I wake up every day with awful pain on the right side of my abdomen, slightly less in my left, and excruciating back pain. My whole pelvis aches, but I can definitely sympathize with the back pain. I have been taking Tramacet but it is just not doing the job anymore... and the past week has been awful. I have just been curled up in bed whenever i get the chance, trying not to cry or throw up or both. Ahhhhh the joys !!!!!!!!

Awww Tara, I'm sorry. Does anything at all make it better aside from the narcotics?
I was thinking, along with the endo diet, we should make an endo stretching and exercise book designed specially for endometriosis pain. That'd be awesome.

Sounds familiar Tara - sorry you'r having such a sucky time I've started stretching in the evening which I think is helping. Like my muscles are relieved afterwards if that makes sense, even though I'm still in pain.

A endo exersize program would be awsome, what a great idea. No I have not found anything except the narcotics and a heating pad that works, but after my holiday in two weeks I am going Glutene free. and if that doesn`t help I will eliminate a `bad group item`from the endo diet until I figure it out. I also need to find some stress management.
Thanks guys.

I'm sorry to hear you are hurting. Have you tried rubbing your butt cheeks? I swear by this. My accupuncture told me (or my hubby) to massage my butt cheeks before bed. This will reduce inflammation in your hips and relieve back, hip and leg pain. Its worth a try.

I will give that a try, it makes sence anytime you increase blood flow, good things happen....
I had a horrible night last night, pain was constant, no matter how many pain pills I took, and I got about 2 hours of sleep, I sleep on my tummy and the pain only relieved if I was on my back, and i just couldn`t sleep. The pain is still there now, and I am exhausted. I phoned the doctor but I can`t get in for three weeks, and I am going on holiday for a week on friday, so I was hopeing not to feel like this on vacation. ugh.

Hope that I am posting in an appropriate spot. Lots of options under the "pain"section. I had surgery approx 15 months ago and my pain has been waxing and waning. I had some recent bleeding issues and went off of my continuous BCP (likely for a week or 2 too long), I ovulated and have been struggling with pain ever since. Started doing visceral manipulation (like PPT but the work is a bit more specific). Ive never had PPT but this visceral guy was recommended by my rolfer. It worked awesome for a bit NO PAIN. Bleeding started back up, and so did pain (briefly) so switched to a new BCP (Loesteral) and stopped the generic seasonique that I had been on forever. Felt great. Still spotteing but its starting to improve after about 12 days on the Loesteral. Yesterday, I had pain that developed in my Left Lower Qaudrant. It was so bad that I almost didnt make it to my car. Went home, passed a good deal of wind, had a BM and felt better. Today, pain was pretty intense again. Also, I am so bloated that it feel uncomfortable to take in a deep breath. I look 9 months pregnant. Bought some Betaine HCL (as that has aided in digestion issues for me in the past). ALso went to the visceral manipulation guy today (700 bucks on him total, 100 bucks a treatment). He said that it felt like my colon was inflammed and that I had pinpoint tenederness over my L ovary. I have tried diet changes before (super strict Paleo last year) and it didnt help much. I have done Lupron x 1 year (long time ago) and have some bone loss in my left hip so I dont think other Lupron-like drugs are going to be for me. Ive thought about an IUD but hesitate after reading the different experiences on this site. I cant have another surgery right now as I have no PTO saved (just started a new job and had an inadvertant 7 weeks unpaid time in between). I feel like total crap too..... more than usual. Super fatigued and today, my arms just feel like jello. I couldve gone to bed at 6pm. Any suggestions? Thinking about Pelvic PT but this does just feel like inflammation. Either from reoccuring endo or change in hormone levels with the change in BCP's. Any feedback or advice is much appreciated, I feel like H*ll..... one of those rare moments when I just want to give up

Do you have endo on the bowel that you know of? That's what it sounds like to me, but it's hard to say. I'm not sure if the pelvic PT would help a great deal more if the visceral guy didnt. I think you might want to try to stick it out in the new BC in case it was because of the switch and the break. I always get nervous for folks having symptoms that sound like a restricted colon, make sure you go to the ER if it doesn't get better or you spring a fever.

When I had my lap, The surgeon (Nezhat), told me that I did not have endo on the bowel, just adhesions......which he removed (and i know they usually grow back). He told me that I had endo near my bowel. I also had a lower GI done right after surgery and the inside of my bowel looked good. The surgeon also told me that I had endo on my appendix, however..... when I got the path report, it said that I had a clean appendix. Unfortunately now, I no longer have the appendix and I instead have pain on the Right, where I had no pain before (likely adhesions from the appy). Feel better today, the visceral manipulation helped again, but cant afford to keep going there on a regular basis. Its outta pocket. If the pain continues, I was thinking about having Redwine review my case (more money). What do you guys think of that?

They review for free at the CEC with Drs Albee and Sinervo, that would be cheaper. But Nezhat is a very good surgeon, so it is possible it is adhesions (which would make sense if the visceral manip worked). Adhesions don't always come back, or in the same spot, but some folks are more prone to them than others. Glad you are feeling better at least!
